2007 Honda CR-V

- Great ride, good power, great handling, great stopping
- POOR Economy; 4wd not manually operated, only an afterthought
You don't get the overall stability of 4 wheel drive. Doesn't engage until you're already in trouble.
Overall economy Very disappointing; Nothing close to sticker "Estimates".

- great fuel economy, comfortable seats, roomy, very stylish
- can't find one so far
Bought the 2007 CR-V EX 4WD and love it! Have owned 2 Suzuki suvs and although I liked them both, the Honda is much more comfortable, and gets better fuel economy. It is much roomier inside too. I think most people have been compaining about the seats, headrests and armrests....they are probably overweight which would make the above uncomfortable. This is a great suv and I would recommend it to anyone...got 30 miles to the gallon on last road trip...that was with no airconditioning running, and driving 65 mph. If you don't want to drive 90 mph everywhere you go, this is the vehicle to buy. A real money saver! Gas prices are only going to rise. Oh, one more thing, the visibility is great and no more blind spot when changing lanes....read morehide

- mileage is better than my Jeep Liberty
- SEATS ARE UNCOMFORTABLE. too hard, can't adjust so that the headrest isn't irritating - no console
I was pleased with this vehicle for about 2 weeks. I figured that once I got used to the seats and found the right positioning it would be more comfortable. That didn't happen. I never feel safe in it because it is so uncomfortable to drive. The passenger seat is also too hard and not suited for long drives.
The mileage is okay, but could be better.
I can't believe I'm going to add this, but I'd rather drive my Liberty which I hate. We got the CR-V so I'd have something to drive instead of the Jeep and I cannot wait for my lease to end in 26 months.
My next vehicle will be a New Beetle or a MINI....read morehide

- IT'S A HONDA, BUT QUALITY IS GOING DOWN FAST?
- BAD MPG, WEAK POWER, NO V6 ENGINE, PRICEY, STIFF RIDE, HARD SEATS1
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CRV IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR A PRICEY 4 CYLINDER ENGINE THAT HAS NO POWER ON HILLS, BAD MPG, NOISY MOTOR, ROAD NOISE, STIFF RIDE, HARD SEATS & HEADREST AND RESEMBLES THE KIA SORRENTO FRONT. fOR A $28,000 SUV, TRY OTHER BRANDS WITH MORE FEATURES AND STANDARD V6 ENGINE WITH BETTER FUEL CONSUMPTION, WHILE THE CRV MAKES ONLY 14MPG AS DISPLAYED ON THE DASH MPG READING. HONDA IS JUST OVERRATED FOR ITS NAME, PRICE AND QUALITY1...read morehide

- still running
- poor engine performance, poor dealer service
Owned a 2003 CRV EX All time 4 wheel drive. Fuel economy right now at 21mpg highway.Wrote this to let others know how your all time 4 wheel drive will be in 3-4years. Driver window motor did not work at one time and brought to Leith Capital Blvd Honda raleigh NC and was told i need to replace window motor for almost 400$ but I declined telling them my 1989 chrysler car never had this problem. Window motor came back to life after 3 months and told dealer to refund 100$diagnostic fee they charged me for wrong diagnosis but they said ,the window motor was bad at that time. Imagine if the problem is in the engine, how bad had it be on these "certified" service center....read morehide

I puchased my new CR-V about 3 weeks ago. This is my 5th Honda so I've been a loyal Honda customer.
I almost dread driving because of the new style of the headrest. My seats have been up, down, back, forward...I've tried everything to make the seat comfortable. The new styling of the headrest pushes your head forward which has caused me to have terrible pain down my leg. I can hardly lift my foot from the gas to the brake. I've turned my headrest backwards so I can drive now, but I'm sure the safety of the seat is NOT what it should be. I called American Honda today and they were no help....They told me any modifications to the seat will void parts of the warranty.
I love my new car but would love it more if I could be comfortable driving it.
If youve experience the same problem let American Honda know!!!...read morehide

- Roomy, nice instrument panel, smooth ride, MP3 jack, I love this car
I love this car! It is very roomy for a small SUV. It drives smooth and it's quiet. We drove to CA from UT and back with 4 people and it performed great. Got 28 MPG. We live in the mountains and it accelerates great up and down the hills. I would recommend this vehicle to everyone.

- Fit & finish, Fuel Economy, Standard safety features, Decent long-term value
- No power seats, flimsy visors, would like an (optional) V6, No fold flat 2nd row, Wind noise
My wife and I are very happy with our CR-V. Our quibbles noted above are minor, but when someone pays over 25K for ANY vehicle, it should come with at least a power drivers seat. This is not an option on any level CR-V. The inline four engine offers decent acceleration for scooting around town, but those looking for performance should look elsewhere. This engine is tuned for economy, not for the drag strip. The interior is comfortable and roomy (I'm 6'2'') with a lot of features (safety and comfort) for young families like ours. We are very happy with our purchase and we know that our CR-V will be with us for years to come....read morehide
