- Amazing car!! Had my eyes on the model for a while & the new design made it irresistable.
- Sunvisor should've been longer. Leather quality should've been better.
7 months- 12,500 miles (work-home commute=5 miles one way) Go figure, why i love this car that much!!!
Good value for money. Performance and comfort are amazing. I take it off road often, into the desert and this one performs without a complaint. Spacious, indeed!
Better leather quality.
Front two windows also tinted!!
And who said this was only a girl's car???...read morehide

- good fuel consumption; dependability
- a bit noisy, stiff ride
Got this CRV with the nav system in January 07 and have 18,000 miles so far. The fuel consumption has been better than expected, about 27 with combined highway and city driving. I have not had the negative experiences that some other posts mention, but it is a bit noisy and stiff, with a tendency to drift on the road.
The vehicle seems well thought out and designed, and the mileage computer and Navigation systems are impressive....I do notice my fuel consumption gets better with cooler weather.....The car is near New Orleans, the hottest and most humid place in the country, yet the a/c has been good. Have test drove other cars and this vehicle seems the best trade-off between size, weight and fuel consumption without going with some sort of hybrid.
So far I have been satisfied, and it has been dependable ....read morehide

- Great fuel economy; plenty of room, rear seats fold down with ease
- needs to have auto off headlights
quiet ride, pretty smooth. Easy to get into and out of. Calculates your gas mileage for you and the XM radio, 7 CD changer provide a variety of music for long or short trips. Plenty of leg room in the back seat and, for trasporting larger items, rear seats fold down very easily. Navigation is voice activated and you can also change the radio station or play a CD - the track of your choice - with voice commands. Everything is at your fingertips!...read morehide

- Great looking, good feel to it, lots of room for a car this size, safety
- Manual headlights (no Auto)
Excellent car.....my wife loves it. It is everything that we expected.
The only thing that is lacking in my opinion is the automatic headlights.. that would make it complete.

- Safe car and fuel economy is excellent!
Who are the people writing these reviews? I read in one review that the cup holders were located above the radio and this created the risk of spilling a beverage on the radio and damaging it. My cupholders are located in between the seats, slightly below them and far below the radio. In fact, they are no where near the radio. Anyone can see this just by looking at pictures of the interior online. Are you sure you meant to review the CR-V? Or can someone tell me where I can find these cup holders because I looked and they are not there. I purchased my vehicle in October 2006 and haven't had ANY problems with it yet. I also would like to mention that all SUV's have a high rollover risk but the CR-V has great safety features like 6 airbags and vehicle stability assist which helps adjust the break pressure. And for the people complaining about the "headrest", or head restraints, if you haven't noticed, most new cars have head restraints that tilt forward. Head restraints, are not for resting your head, they are meant to protect your neck and head in case of an accident. I don't know anyone that rests their head while driving. I would imagine it would be very difficult to concentrate on the road and it's not the proper way for a driver to sit in the vehicle anyway. When I'm in the passenger seat I just adjust the head restraint and the seat and I'm very comfortable, even more so than when I'm driving because I can sit however I want. This is not a luxury vehicle guys but it's a great car for the money. Sorry if I'm coming off as rude, that's not my intent. I'm just suprised by some of the things I have read. I didn't know people could be so picky about cars....read morehide

- GREAT PRICE, GOOD FUEL ECONOMY
I absolutely love this car. It looks great inside and out. I comfort seating for the family and has great gas mileage for our weekends away from home. I love the upgrades and the navi is the best. I had the 06' Civic and loved that one too but I keep this one, over and again.

- NAVIGATION (oh Yah!) Fuel econ, cabin n headroom, reclining rear seats.
- No auto headlights, no variable seat positioning, armrest short n non-cushioned, sm. console
I did my research-- knew what I wanted-- nothing fit my requests-- 'til now. I wanted a mid-size SUV w good fuel economy, good looks n design features that wouldn't price out at over 30K. Enter CR-V! Nothing is perfect. I toyed w the BMW x3 and at 10-18K more, half the fuel economy and higher insurance rates-- talked myself out of it (smart!). I was going to miss that cool double sunroof and all the power options on the BMW, but my practical side took over (smart!). I want that fuel economy!!! Drove the RAV4 and on paper it seemed like the better choice, but I couldn't get over feeling like I was driving a Barbie car. It didn't feel right to me and that tire rack in back is just like my OLD Nissan Pathfinder from 1994. HELLO TOYOTA!!! Not cool.
Cutting to the chase... I don't notice much road noise, handling is just great. Seats aren't cushy, but adequate-- feel like they are sloped slightly downward, but I love this car. Couldn't figure out why the lights wouldn't go out and alarm wouldn't arm. Went thru reclosing all the doors and hatch. Still no go. It took me a while to figure out that the hatch needs to be closed w some muscle in it. The best decision I made was adding Navigation. I struggled at whether to go 4wh or 2wh. I live in Oregon and I go over the Willamete Pass-- used 4wh drive twice in the past 11 yrs, other than driving down on the beach in So. Oregon. Bottom line? I don't want to drive in conditions that require chains or 4 wh dr and I really want that extra fuel econ -- even 2 mpg adds up.
Paying 2K for Naviagation was a hard choice. I didn't even consider it until my husband n I argued twice on vacation over getting lost and him not willing to get directions. The last car accident I had was because I was lost-- that cost me WAYYYYY more than 2 grand. What you may not know is that w navigation you get the rear cameras for perfect back-up manuevering. It is wonderful and we love dancing for the camera!!! You get the upgraded sound system-- even if the 6 disc cartridge is pre-historic. This car has voice activated commands that control many of its functions. It is worth the extra $$. I absolutely love it. I read that the graphics are not the greatest on the display. Really? Who cares, looks fine to me. Helped me make a 2 hr trip home w/o getting lost. Now THAT is a BIG GIG!!! HA!
This is a nice lil' SUV. I'm pleased-- I'm happy. No regrets at all! I'm not focused on what this car doesn't have, but what it brings to the table! And it does bring it!...read morehide

- tight seems\some night interior work
- fake metal door handle plastic, plastic work around bottom of car, headlights
I tried to sell Hondas for several months and was amazed at the cRv as a "supposed hot seller".. they hardly gave our dealership CRV's.. Of the CRV's delivered one had a leaking radiator. Other complaints are when people who purchased the LX model tried to buy the rear package cover shelf and it was 800! Also, no bluetooth.. but that was available for 495!! The headlights are odd looking as is the plastic work along the bottom of this vehicle and the door handles inside. Another negative thing is getting the best price on your CRV.. you can get a CostCo discount at one dealer, internet at another, sale price advertised at another and a sharp one directly at the dealer... which is the lowest price? Exactly!! In our region people cross shop a minimum of 3 dealers. Other pricing negatives are the addendum price sticker which they expect payment on those items. They are often poorly installed..particularily the wheel guards.. or wax on the mudguard making it look white. And Honda wonders why Toyota has such a shot at the business!...read morehide

- appearance, fuel economy, room, cargo, towing capacity
- no automatic headlights
I sold a nissan maximum when I bought this car, and I do not regret it at all. This is my first Honda, and with the treatment from the dealership and the quality of the vehicle I will always consider a Honda product first.

- Extremely good looking good design, Navigation system, Gear shift on the front console, Spacious
- Headlights have to be turned on manually, Arm rests of the front seats is not comfortable etc.
I bought this vehicle on February 15th, 2007. So far I have been mostly happy with the Vehicle.
Here are some things to keep in mind when buying this SUV:
1.CR-V comes with a manual switch to turn on headlights. This is the biggest missing feature in the car.
2.CR-V doesnt have fully automatic seats. One would expect this given the price of the car.
3.CR-Vs navigation system has a lot of defects. In my case, the GPS system doesnt toggle contrast between day and night modes. Its suppose to toggle the contrast when the user turns on/off the head lights. I have to take my car in to the dealers already. Can you believe that?
4.During rainy season be careful about opening the trunk. The water on the door drips on you as soon as you open the trunk door.
5.The 6CD changer is installed right next to the cup holders and the CR-V owners manual says the 6 CD changer can get damaged if fluids spill over it. It seems that Honda has deliberately let this flawed design roll out in production.
6.The arm rests on the front seats have very little cushion inside it. It almost feels that you are putting your arms on wood.
7.CR-V doesn't come with front wheel splash guard as a standard feature.
8. There is no lighting inside the upper glove compartment.
But even with the above flaws the 2007 CR-V is a good alternative to all of the other SUVs in the market. It beats the Rav4 by a mile....read morehide
