- Reliable, well-built, good mpg, versatility, no problems mechanically
- A bit noisy, large blind-spot in the back
I've had this car for 2 years and over 40K miles and not a single problem. Just oil changes and one 30K mile maintenance. If you drive a lot and keep your cars for over 5 years- get a Honda.

- Great fueld economy - we get 22 city and sometimes 30+ hwy
We bought this car for the fuel economy and the size. It has been everything we wanted and more. We are taking a trip this month and I think we will get 30-35 mpg. I have a family member with a CRV EX and they got 40-45 driving in New Mexico.

- smooth and quiet
- view backing up
I like it very much. This is the first new vehicle I've ever ownned so i was looking for reliability, comfort, economical and easy to drive.(for my wife) My daugther bought the honda civic and is also very pleased with it. Honda was one of the few vehicle types that was recomended in consumer reports. That was the one reason I considered Honda....read morehide

- Fuel Economy, tight fit and finish, roomy for a big guy.
- only 2 open "bins" for center consol storage.
Being 6'2" an close to 290lbs this car fits me. Getting 24 average hwy/city driving. Tried the '09 Subaru Forester and loved it, but my dealer was offering lifetime power train warranty with purchase no charge and that moved me toward the Honda. This is my wife and I 6th Honda. Traded an '00 Odyssey with 130K for the C-RV and only miss the extra room a little bit....read morehide

- Electronics is all good plus good gas mileage its comfortable and very spacious too many good things
- Bluetooth should be made standatd/
This is an excellent car compared to Toyota Rav4 sport model. Its more roomy and has more security features and plus the anti theft comes as standard. Man I cant explain how it feels to drive this car, I also tried Rav4 but was not satisfied by it, but the CRV EX model is great.

- comfortable seats for long drives, nice looks
- noisy, shift stick next to wheel on dash, steering pulls to right, noisy air fan
2006 CRV - noisy ride; when air/ fan is on you can't hear the radio; sound system is poor; doesn't shift smoothly; wheel spins to right at times - usually when braking, but random; shift stick sits too close to the wiper/ windshield washer stick near wheel, so you could pull the wrong one; tires need to be checked - OEMs are cheap. About 20 mpg both highway or city traffic. What I like the best is sitting up high -- comfortable seats in front. The seats in back don't go all the way down to lie flat (like I was told they did). Have about 20,000 miles so far. May try a different car next year since I just bought this one a few months ago....read morehide

- Honda CRV has widespread compressor issue.
My CRV2003 has 70K mile. The AC was locked last week. The AC is common issue for CRV. Thousand posts in the web. The compressor has defect. Honda needs to recall the compressor

- Just the right size SUV, excellent power with it's 2.4 L engine, excellent handling
- Tire treads track certain freeway grooves, shifting car to the left & right
I have put 14,000 miles on my 2007 CRV and am very satisfied. Honda's sales & service people are great.
I have had no problems with the car except AirCon smells from time to time. Honda suggested opening the circulation vent to get rid of the dew smell. That works except the Aircon doesn't blow as cold.
The dash is a bit "plasticy looking".
Items placed on the center console vibrate and make noise.
Has a Nice ride, Good power and Good over-all looks.
I would have designed the front grills differently. Personally, I like the front grill and looks of the older (2007) Infinity FX. I think that is a better looking SUV (from the front) but the overall value you get with CRV is unbeatable. The car is just the right size and I think the side and rear views are better than any other SUV out there. Best of all.. it comes with Honda's outstanding quality and great engineering!...read morehide

- Descent Fuel Milage, very agile, clean looks, well laid out interior. Performance not as bad as we r
- A little too much road and wind noise
This is our third Honda. Our first CRV. After trying the Ford Edge and Escape, then a Rav 4 it became clear why Honda's fill our driveway.
For the Money nothing can touch the CRV value and bang for the Buck. Try an equip the competition the same and your thousands above. I'm feel great about our decision and know we have several dependable years and miles ahead. The US cars still aren't there....read morehide

- Tons of storage space, handles well, fuel economy, gadgets!
- rides a little bumpy, sensitive brakes
I just got the new CR-V last week. I was driving a Saturn Vue before and really liked it. But, becuase of a not so great lease, I had to ditch it. I looked at the Rav-4 and new Vue and was really disapointed. I just feel like they are all pretty much the same, as far as engine specs, so it's the little things that mean so much to me! The CR-V has all the little things and more! Aux jack for ipod, an "I'm watching you" mirror for the back seat and storage, storage, staorage! It has tons of places to put water bottles and the tray/ console is awseome. My kids love the back seat with the fold down console. No more fighting about "sides" and the car might as well be a transformer! There are so many options with the back seat it's incredible. The back seats slide back and forth, flip all the way forward and seperate in three parts (not the usual 3/4, 1/4 split). I also like the way you are able to monitor your gas mileage. Hopefully I can teach myself to not be such a lead foot! It also tells you how many miles of gas you have left before you have to start pushing it :0
I can't say enough about how much I like this car. I have only had it a week so I can't say to much about engine pro's or cons... but it is a Honda....read morehide
