The ride is very brisk. Interior space is adequate even for a tall person though storage space could be improved. Mileage is not as good as expected. Some V-6's are better. Reliabilty exceeds other comparable vehicles. Overall it's hard to beat a Honda!

- Nice exterior look, smooth shifting gear
- Pronounced engine and cabin noise
Purchased As New
I've had this car for 9 mos. and I must say that Honda ought to improve on improving cabin noise and engine noise. The noise is deafening. You'd have to talk loud with your company specially when driving on highways or if you're alone, you need to turn up the volume of your car stereo to drown out the noise coming from the tires and underchassis. The steering is very sensitive that you might mistake that it's not driving straight due to uneven tire pressure or wheel alignment but that's the way it is. I had to bring the car twice for service to correct this but I've given up. I also don't like the center console. It's not too usable at all. The good things I like about the CR-V is its bold, exterior look, smooth shifting automatic transmission. The ride is not as soft but not as harsh either. Improvement on power and coming up with a 6-cylinder version would be a great thing....read morehide

- Smooth ride, nice looking, good gas mileage
- Stiff seats, lights don't auto turn off, windshield wipers, no center console
Purchased As New
I've had this car for a week and a half, and am happy. It rides smooth, and gets better gas mileage than my old (but reliable) Toyota 4Runner. I like that I can monitor MPG while I'm driving, and am thrilled it has an MP3 jack (although you have to manually operate the MP3 player to change songs, etc.). Sound system is decent. The windsheild wipers are odd; when raining heavily, the driver's side wiper sort of pulls the water back into my view before rolling away. And I'm disappointed that the lights don't automatically turn off, which my husband's base level Ridgeline does. I wish it had a real center console with storage, instead of the flip down centerpiece. And my husband complains this is not a man's car -- the arm rest is too short/thin....read morehide

- Great on gas; cute exterior; roomy interior
- Seats a little uncomfortable on long trips
I just traded my 2008 LX for a 2009 EX and absolutely love it! I'm so glad I got my CRV. It's wonderful on gas...I took my 08 on a trip through the mountains (6 hour total) and didn't have to refill the tank til I got back home! The 6-disc changer is cool and I love the moonroof. I also enjoy the auxilliary jack for my ipod and the cover in the back. Nothing beats sitting up higher with a better view of the road. I'd recommend the new CRV to anyone who wants a quality small SUV at a great price. :-)...read morehide
