- Pros

- Cons

Bought an EX-L 4WD in October I have put 7k miles on it with no issues. I like the ride height and it is more comfortable than the Accord. Performance is not as bad as most reviews indicate. In commute traffic this car is fine. Goes up hills and mountains fine. When you push it the gas mileage suffers but it has enough power. There is a ton of room in the interior. Fits 4 full size adults....read morehide

- Pros
- Looks good and is roomy.
- Cons
- Fuel economy is a total lie. It is not good.

I wish my CR-V got the fuel economy that was advertised when I bought it. Right now I'm getting less than 19 mpg COMBINED on my last two fill-ups. Before that it was barely over 20 mpg. Honda and the EPA are full of crap.

I just got a brand new 2011 CR-V EXL. With the first snow storm in Chicago, I used the front shield defroster for the first time and I heard an explosion, the front shield window cracked all the way across. A honda dealer admitted to me that Honda wanted to make this vehicle as light weight as possible, so they made an unusually large size front shield window way thinner than all other vehicles from the same class! The worst part is Honda does not want to cover for this defective and poorly designed windshield, they want me to pay almost $1000 to replace it. What a ... ....read morehide

I have had this car since 2006. It is delightful!!! Have never had to spend ONE thin dime on it except for normal maintenance. I will never own anything else but a HONDA!!

- Pros
- Good leg room, smooth ride, handling, good mpg
- Cons
- needs more interior storage spaces

Great suv. The ride is outstanding handles like a car. The gas mileage is exactly what the estimates say. Im getting about 25mpg combined remarkable for a 4wd vehicle. The acceleration is good for a 4cylinder its not a sports car and you won't win a drag race. It will downshift a few times on a steep grade but it does it smoothly. Has great front and rear leg room and the back seats recline for extra comfort on long trips. Other brands are catching up to honda in this market but the crv is a simple quality built suv that does everything well. i would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact suv....read morehide

I had my CRV SE for 11 years and it was nearing 200,000 miles so it was time to trade in for a new CRV. The new feature options (sun roof, passenger arm rest, satellite radio, heated seats etc.) have been fun additions to this car. The seats are much more luxurious than my 2000 model. The only problem I have is recognizing this beautiful car in the lot as mine. I press the key lock to be sure!...read morehide

- Cons
- none, so far

We have owned this CRV almost a year. No problems after we drove it off the lot and no problems since. Gas mileage averages around 22 mpg in town and for the two or three road trips we've taken we've averaged 27-29 mpg. Overall, a great vehicle! My wife primarily drives it, but I've driven it in and out of town and it handles great. it's actually more fun to drive than I would have thought. I'm considering trading my Pilot in for one....read morehide

- Pros
- Good mainstream look, great price for a SUV.
- Cons
- Poor visibility, unimpressive fuel economy, jerky accerlation, horn too far from finger tip.

I love the look of this CRV, it's affordable and yet upscale look. Where do you buy a 4 wheel drive SUV for $23,000 before tax and title? Hard to find because most would cost nearly $30,000. So I am very happy with the price. My main problem with the CRV is visibility, it is just difficult to see when you need to reverse such parking. Switching for a sedan to SUV can make you really appreciate a sedan much more, these SUV have small windows sides and rear. The gas mileage is poor for such small SUV. Acceleration is a little jerky every time I step to the gas pedal, don't know why it is doing that. The horn is not a the finger tip, I can't believe I have to lift up my right hand just to press the horn, unreal and dangerous, most cars can do this task with your thumb. Oh one more thing, it is noisy, need to close all windows when driving to have a peaceful moment. I thought Honda handling is outstanding, but other than less body lean, my old Toyota Camry handle just as good and is quieter....read morehide

Bought a 2011 4WD on April 1, 2011. Spent the extra dollars on the EX-L. In 6 months I have driven over 35,000 miles, almost all for my job. Other then oil changes and tire rotations, there have been no service issues. I have enjoyed the leather, XM and power seat to make my driving time more enjoyable. My mileage runs right around 26MPG overall. For the size of this vehicle I am happily surprised by the comfort, horsepower and durability. I cover the Northeast US and spend allot of time behind the wheel. Honda definitely considered the driver when designing the interior. When I bought the car, I was told navigation was not available. Would like to have it in the dash....read morehide
