Best small SUV on the market. This is out 5th CR-V and it's the best yet.

- Pros
- Big for a small SUV, lots of standard features, stylish
- Cons
- 0-60 Acceleration, won't get off the line.
Purchased As New
I really like the car. I had an H-3 and this is not a HUMMER, but I will take it with 6+ MPG better. It is masculine enough for a guy and that was my issue with most smaller SUV's. The Blue Tooth works well, decent sound system, back up camera is a big plus, "easy" to use controls for everything, good acceleration in traffic, good visibility, comfortable drivers seat, lots and lots of room. I put a THULE MOAB off my HUMMER on top of it (minus the extension) and it looks great, but better yet my 2 kids, German Shepherd and me can travel anywhere with lots of space. The kids really like the car and that is important also. I feel at "peace" with this car and it is a Honda. Was looking at Ford, Mazda and Hyundai, but this car whips them all and has a much higher projected resale at a lower purchase price. Great car....read morehide

- Pros
- Looks good, ample room, heat works well
- Cons
- Upholstry shows all dirt and waterspots, no automatic headlights on standard model
Purchased As New
I've had a Civic and an Accord and loved both. However, we think of our CRV as a cheap car with cheap interior and below average mileage. We wish we had rented instead of purchased so we could get rid of it. Not likely we will take a chance with a Honda again. Not up to their old standards.

- Pros
- Reliability, good MPG, accessability
- Cons
- slight road noise
Purchased As Used
Bought a 2012 certified pre-owned with 13,700 miles, a dealers demo with all the options for $2500 under blue book! My 3rd Honda, last 2 were Accords. Love the uncomplicated stereo/navigation system. The ride is smooth and handles well on these rough ice covered Minnesota roads. Front wheel drive is adequate for a seasoned winter driver like myself. It freed up more money for the options I wanted like the roof rails, trailer hitch, premium wheels, rear spoiler, etc... If you want a long lasting vehicle with great resale and reliability, you can't miss with Honda!!...read morehide

Was this review helpful to you?
- Pros
- Good fuel economy
- Cons
- Cruise control, defroster, air conditioner
Purchased As New
Cruise control drops up to 8 mph going up a hill and gains that much going down. Dealer says the 15 mph speed variation is "normal and within guidelines". I have been driving with cruise controls since they were introduced and have never seen dramatic fluctuations like this even when the technology was new. It is too bad that Honda finds this acceptable. Side window fogs making it difficult or impossible to see side mirror. Defroster doesn't help. Seems to be a design flaw particularly in humid climates. Heater works great unfortunately I live in the south and the air conditioner is not adequate on hot days....read morehide

- Pros
- Love the car overall
- Cons
- Ticky problems
Purchased As New
I love this car overall. It handles well, drives smoothly, is comfortable and a great looking car. I like the controls on the steering wheel and having a backup camera. The back seats fold down easily and it has a lot of cargo space. I enjoy the leather seats. The audio is well thought out and the display is great.
I have been disappointed with problems that Honda has been willing to fix but are a nuisance to have done. The back hatch has intermitent failure. The passenger seat rattles. The left rearview mirror has a reducing spot that I finally taped over so that I could use the mirror. The backup camera is in Dr. Seuss colors - I prefer my green grass to be green. It is a shame to have problems like this with a brand new car that really has a lot of great features....read morehide4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Excellent
- Cons
- No heated on the side mirrors
Purchased As New
I had this CR-V EX about 6 months, love it every things. I just noted this CR-V did not have side view mirror heated, on night time when the weather snow or rain it very hard to see on the rear view when I back up my CR-V , even the rear view camera could not clear because water or snow on it.

- Pros
- Great fuel economy
- Cons
- Dangerous windshield wipers
Purchased As New
Honda, what were your designers thinking when they came up with those crazy windshield wipers? Did they not sit in the passenger seat. You can't see a thing when it really rains, like in Washington. Is there some way of changing them, please? It is dangerous to say the least! We loved our 2002 except for road noise. Great for towing. Lots of cubby holes I miss in 2012....read morehide

Was this review helpful to you?
- Pros
- Comfort, low loading platform, American made
- Cons
- no homelink mirror
Purchased As New
Here are some comments not generally made. I bought the 2012 CRV for several reasons: 1) Built in East Liberty, OH
2) Comfortable cloth seating. I've had 6 spinal surgeries - 2 on my neck and 4 on my back. The CRV has very comfortable seating that allows me to make long distance trips. The headrest isn't canted too far forward so my neck can be pretty comfortable.
3) Low loading platform - great for heavy items.
4) The Maintenance feature indicates when an oil change is needed.
On the other hand:
I had to spend $210 to purchase and install a homelink rearview mirror.
The mileage at 4,000 miles been lower than was advertised, but some heavy winter snow should help me overlook that shortcoming with my AWD....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.
