Purchased As New
I love my CR-Z. It's not a sports car, okay? It's a sporty, fun to drive, fuel efficient commuter car. However, I did take it on 3K mile road trip with luggage, provisions, wife and dog and it wasn't bad. Also got 41.6 mpg overall for the trip. The car isn't for everyone, but I rarely, if ever, have need to carry more than one passenger; the hatch/cargo area makes a fine "back seat" to throw your gear. And it's got room for a month's worth of groceries. I drive 300+ miles/week. This car saves me $80-90/month in gas. 10K between oil changes. Not one single lick of trouble. Compared to Cruze, Focus, Fiesta, Elantra, Jetta, Fit...none could touch it for responsiveness, acceleration, economy and fun-factor. People whine about rear visibility. Huh? You can actually see more of the road thru the split rear windows than most other cars, and if you actually aim the mirrors correctly there is NO blind spot, period. I wish the interior were a little more plush, but it does not have a base-model-stripped-down barrenness either. 13,000 miles later and I have no regrets on my purchase.
