What I love the most about this car is being able to lug LARGE items. To date, I have successfully fit and transportered, lumber, a dishwasher, a patio set, and even a PIANO! It's so much easier to visit someone and go on a long trip. There's lots of leg room and it's the PERFECT vehicle for our family of 3.
At first, I wasn't too thrilled about the design, but came to appreciate its uniqueness. We have a grey colored Element, which seems to look the nicest out of all of the available colors.
The price was reasonable and gas mileage is above average for other vehicles.
I love 'oil life' feature which tells the % of time left before you need an oil change. However, the 'low tire pressure' light seems to trigger ALL the TIME, even though the tires have well over 30 PSI.
I'm dissapointed about the cheap plastic interior under the dash. During the first week, my wife was moving her leg and actually cracked the plastic sheeting in half. Also, during the incident, the hood latch snapped clean off. Of course, it can't be repaired easily, so the wonderful interior has been spoiled by a giant flaw under the driver's seat.
Overall, a great investment. I look forward to spending many years with it.
