I've had my 2009 fit for 3 years and I love it. When I bought it, I was single with 2 small dogs, and it was perfect. I have since remarried and have several 6 foot, 250 + pound stepsons. It gets us around just fine. My mileage averages 36-38 in the city and over 40 on the highway. It can turn on a dime, is zippy and fun to drive....read morehide

I have owned two Honda Fits and have loved every minute when Driving, Once you own one of these cars, you won't want another vehicle!! I had a 2007 model and I traded it for a 2010 model. My husband is 6' 04" tall and he can sit in the front or back and have plenty of leg room!! It may be a little car but it has whole lotta room!!...read morehide

- Pros
- It has fantastic fuel economy and looks futuristic (adorable).
- Cons
- It sits way too low to the ground.

Let me start with I LOVE MY CAR. Now: it sits way too close to the ground. And it is impossible to judge where the front fender is; perhaps a plastic snap on one would do well. Anyways, this is a great car that gets incredible car miles per gallon (anywhere from 36-44) (10 more than they say)). My previous cars have been: a Datsun B210, 2 VW Bugs, 2 Ford Explorers, a Ford Mustang, a Toyota Supra and now I have the fit. They were good cars in their day and really nice. But it is the FIT that I love. It's great to look at (futuristic) and zippy (passes nicely). I get sooo many compliments on my car. There are actually 2 people (in the neighborhood, living within a mile of me) with the same, exact car and look that I have personally. They have my same color car, the same color hair and the same color hair cut. It seems we are more similar than the just the same car! But if they are like me; they love their car, too!...read morehide

We bought a 2011 Fit for my wife in June 2011 (orange sport model with automatic transmission). I went back a week later and bought another FIT with a manual transmission for myself due to a 60 mile per day commute round trip. They both "FIT" in the garage leaving all kinds of room! Now we can watch TV, listen to the stereo, play darts and enjoy the garage even with the little cars inside :)...read morehide

- Pros
- The blocky-cool Sport trim; tight car; great handling; great stereo; ROOMY!; drives substantially
- Cons
- Disappointing economy (32 mpg @ 70mph highway); no Homelink option from factory or dealer.
Purchased As New
I love my car. It's the Revolution Orange color, which is great and seems sporty without being red. I got more compliments on this car from friends than I've ever gotten on any car I've ever bought. It's relatively quiet, steers tightly, and its interior appointments and dash seem a little more upscale than I would have expected. (My '93 Civic was rather spartan.) II can haul a LOT, too.
I wish I had gotten the Navi option, but the base stereo is still really good, and interfaces well with my iPhone. GET the Sport level trim. It looks more finished off outside and inside; I'm always glad I did.
Cons: They should have included a temperature gage. The absence of one was a bit disconcerting at first. And, there should be an audible cue when the low fuel light comes on. The drive-by-wire programming can have a very slight hesitation sometimes that was quite annoying at first, but now I never really notice it anymore. And they didn't offer Homelink from the factory or from my dealer.
I got this car because I missed my old '93 Civic. While it was a truly great car (I put 289,000 miles on it), I like this car even more. It's substantial and everything about it has been quality since Day 1....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

I have a 2008 fit and will buy the2011 or 12 very soon as I have been very happy with the car. It's the best small car I ever owned and I have had many.

Needed to shop for and buy a car in one day. This is the last car we expected to buy, but are we ever glad that we did. Unbelievable gas mileage, 40 mpg on our latest tank full. Comfortable interior and ride, lots of fun to drive. The sport was more $$ than we wanted to spend but now that we have driven the car for 3 weeks, we see that it is a real value. Definately worth the price when compared to a Ford Fiesta, Kia Soul, Toyota Yaris. You just can't lose with a Honda. Reliable and solid car, we are very happy with it....read morehide
