Have owned my Fit for nearly 5 years and 145,000 miles. I have replaced the tires once and the brakes once...it is the most amazing vehicle for your hard earned dollar! You have to sacrifice power and luxury to own one but it's been an awesome commute car. One impressive feature you can fit a lot into a FIT. I call it a mini-mini van....read morehide

I willsay that this car by Honda is wonderful there is a title I give this with the name For Impressive Driving FIT the electronic power steering is terrific and when I hit the gas pedal and getting onto the freeway is a breeze the power is wonderful. When my wife and I purchased this car and I stepped on the the gas pedal I could not believe the power l said to my wife this is only a four cylinder. The space is unbelievable I do puppets for children and adults and it holds trunks, sound equipment, and all I need Three Cheers the room inside is much more than I expected and the Windows and seeing space is Unique. The radio and connections for an I Pod is terrific everyone who rides in it cannot say anything negative What A Car...read morehide

I bought this car on December 4, 2012. I've checked the gas mileage on every fill-up and the computer is more optimistic. I've been getting 33-34 and the computer has been coming in at 34-35. Nevertheless, I'm quite pleased with the overall mileage; however, I don't take it over 60 and I use the cruise control whenever possible. I don't race it and I treat it better than the cars I had in the past. It's Vortex Blue. We gave it a name: Orville. It's a great little put-put car. Actually, it rides quite nicely on the highway and the visibility is great! Lots of window space! I bought it for $20,000 drive out....read morehide

- MPG, comfort, safety
- Cons
- Noisy interior at certain speeds

Currently averaging about 42 MPG under mixed highway city driving, the MPG indicator helps me drive sensibly, although not slowly. In snow and slush I challenged the Fit to charge up hill, and was amazed to feel the automatic traction adjustment make the corrections necessary to stay straight and true. The huge interior with seats down lets me carry big loads to shows where I exhibit. the radio pulls in stations on Mars and in surround sound! Manual transmissions is fun and adds a touch of extra control. Perfect! Great car....read morehide

- Cons

I live in Los Angeles and getting around can be a challenge at times but with the Fit, it makes it a whole lot easier to park and maneuver through traffic. A/C works great, even on our hottest days. Had the windows tinted to minimize heat penetration. Love the large front windshield area. 117 hp more than enough to zip around town. Xlnt handling. Achieved 45 mpg (sustained) at 70 mph fwy speeds with the A/C going. Overall very satisfied....read morehide

- Pros
- Looks great, handles excellently, tons of storage space
- Cons
- A tad under-powered, not-so-great MPG

I bought the 2012 Sport as the 2013 was just a roll-over and the 2012 was marked down 2k cheaper. I've driven the car around 1k miles. I drove it from Ohio to North Carolina and averaged around 35.5 MPG, however once in the city or back roads, I averaged around 25-27 MPG. I bought the Orange Burst Metallic, the last and only year it was available. I've received numerous compliments on the color and styling.
The car handles well and has enough power for city driving, however getting on and merging on the interstate can be a bit intimidating, especially if you have a heavy load or more than two passengers. It rides very nice, better than my 2007 Civic did.
Overall it's a great little car that needs a few more HP, a tad better gas mileage and it would be perfect, for me at least....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Spacious, fun styling, a blast to drive (w/stick), great audio!
- Cons
- Interior materials feel sorta cheap. Seats need height adjuster.

Turned in a Mini Cooper, which was a great car, but a financial albatross around my neck (very unreliable; expensive to keep on the road). The Fit's manual t/x is the smoothest I've ever driven--and, speaking as a former Mini owner, I don't think the ride is at all harsh. (YMMV...) Other plusses: surprisingly awesome audio system (which works seamlessly with my iPod, a surprise, given how many other cars' USB inputs balk at reading playlists). Decent seats, but the lack of height adjustment for the driver's seat is mildly annoying. Tons of cupholders, but not much else in the way of storage for the driver.
I've only owned the car for a couple of days, but I can tell that I will be very happy for a long time to come. It's a well-designed, solidly built, very practical and attractive car. Plus, seriously people, with the seatbacks folded down, this thing has incredible storage capacity!...read morehide5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- great fit and mileage
- Cons
- weak AC, annoying head rests

great little car for the money. I get 44 mpg on the hiway (one person, no other weight), 40 mpg (2 persons, loaded with luggage) and 38 mpg city.
AC is much weaker than in my other two Honda Civics - I will have it checked out at the dealer. I dont like the head rests. they push your head too much forward, and - short of removing them- there is no way to adjust them other than up or down....read morehide2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
