- Great van except for one thing....PAX Tire System! Design flaw!!!! DO NOT BUY TOURING!
- Pax tire system can not be changed. You are stuck buying a tire from 250.00 to 300.00 per tire
Today I found out that if you get a nail in your tire, you can not go to any tire repair place to fix your tire. Your only choice is to go to a Honda Dealer that has the equiptment to handle PAX tires. NOT all dealers have this equiptment. I was told by one dealer that it cost 15,000.00 to buy. This car does not come with a spare and when I spoke to Honda, they do not allow you to change rims and wheels to regular type tires. In most cases I was told the tire could not be repaired and that a new tire would be neeeded. Most tires could get a plug or patch, but not the PAX Tires. THIS IS A MAJOR RIP OFF!!!!! I would like to get more owners together to file a class action lawsuit because of this feature. I was not told by the selling dealer what this system means. I do not recomend anyone buy a car with PAX tires. Also when it comes time to replace the tires, it will cost over 1000.00 to replace them. Otherwise, it's a great car, but this one feature would make me suggest to anyone that they buy anything but a Touring model.
