2010 Honda Odyssey

- Very roomy, family friendly
- The ball on the sliding door broke off
Purchased As New
We purchased our 2010 EX-L brand spanking new. It is very spacious, we're able to travel in comfort. I love how the middle seat can be taken out or flipped down. The only thing I do not like was that the rolling ball on one of the doors broke off. That was within a year of purchasing it. Also, the navigation sucks, it's not worth the $$. I just use google maps via my phone. I love the DVD player, the leather interior is great with kids....read morehide

- Comfortable car with a lot of extras.
- MPG could be better. In a perfect world it would be!
Purchased As New
Comfortable vehicle with no issues. Purchased the 2010 EX-L NAV/ DVD. My wife and I love the vehicle. Can get kidds in and out with ease. The automatic passenger doors are a plus. The auto rear trunk is a plus when you have grocieries in hand and you cant reach up to pull down the door. Nav and dvd work well with no issues. Third row seating is comfortable. Third row seats fold down with ease and can fite all our things when we go on trips. Good by roof top carrier. Lots of head room for everyone. Pleanty of cup holders all around. Excelleration is there when you need it. No breaking or transmission issues. Glad I dont have the same issues as the other reviewers. Before I purchased the vehicle I read the reviews and you people confused the heck out of me. This site is for 2010 models and NOT FOR OLDER MODELS!!!!! go some were else to vent about your old car. How do we know that the transmission problem wasnt caused by you. When you tow more weight then is recommended or you drive it into the ground its going to have issues. The only gripe that I have is the fuel consumption. It takes time for a vehicle to reach its full fuel potential. If you drive all freeway with no stoping then youll get the full 25 MPG. Im sure that you get the math..Hopefuly? I hope that you find the vehicle that fits your needs. FYI I didnt like the styling of the 2011. Looked and sat in one at a 2011 car show. Thank god We didnt go with the 2011...IMPO!...read morehide

- Spacious, Comfortable on long trips
- Odyssey's faulty transmission track record, no compass, fog lights optional not standard
Purchased As New
For some reason, Honda has not come up with a solution to the faulty transmissions on these Odysseys. Traded in my 02 Odyssey with 42500 miles that needed a rebuilt transmission, I purchased new, for the 2010 Odyssey. The cost of repair was $3200. The previous generation of Odysseys 1999-2004 have a slew of complaints from owners, regarding the transmissions as reported on the Edmunds forum website. My new 2010 Odyssey is still running well but worry to see what will happen in the next few years. I have also read that owners of Odysseys from 2005 and on have also experience problems with their transmissions. I could have gone with a Toyota Sienna but thought better of it especially with the current problems with the Toyota brand....read morehide
