Purchased this mini van in Oct of 2012... got 2013 EX-L Mocha with beigh leather inside. We have loved this van from the day we purchased it. It has most all the bells and whistles we could ever really want and the outside design is sleek and sexy to say the least. Our model has the heated seats, back up camera, blue-tooth, satelite radio, ipod hookup and player, and lots of charging ports for you name it. Another cool feature is that the rear of van has electric connects for whatever your need is as well. I am disabled and had a scooter an electric lift installed that lowers and lifts my scooter into the rear area. With a purchased electric adaptor am able to charge my scooter when driving thus saving to have to take it out to do so....read morehide

- Pros
- Good Fuel Economy, Very Roomy. Very comfy

We bought our 2012 Odyssey in August 2012. We have really enjoyed it. I travel all over the north part of our state as a dialysis nurse and it gets good gas mileage. When purely on the highway with no mixed in town driving I avg 26-28 MPG and when mixing in some in town driving I'm avg 22-24 MPG. I think that is good for a vehicle that sits 8. I would recommend this Van to anyone looking for a little more room and versatility....read morehide

2nd Odyssey we own, love the trim. But eventually, with enough use everything starts to squeak, the sliding doors beep even when they're closed. Make sure to purchase the extended warranty by Honda, if not you'll be paying for the smallest issue.

- Cons
- A little low to the ground

Great vehicle for storage, kids, good room in third row, smooth ride, kids love all the electronic plugs and charging stations. Solid seats and doors. Feels well built.
I'm sure it is intentional to keep the center of gravity low but the van rides pretty low. Not much of a big deal until you hit the parking blocks in front or a high curb.
Retain their value. I bought a new 2012 Odyssey early this year for very near the price that Car Max wanted for a 2010 model with low miles....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

- Cons
- pricey, front panel has to many buttons

Overall the Odyssey Is a great van, highly recommended. Cant say enough good things about it. I personally compared the Nissan Quest and the Toyota Sienna and came away overwhelmed by the Odyssey. Although it was alot pricier then the other two, i did feel it was the best choice. It's great on long road trips and I couldn't ask for a better family vehicle...read morehide

- Pros
- Roomy, good stereo, nice electronic options
- Cons
- mobile phone can not charge unless the motor is running

I went from a BMW Sports Wagon to this car and was not happy at the thought. I was in a car accident. My sons really wanted this car and we have really enjoyed it. I do like the blue tooth, satellite radio and GPS. It does not go from 0-60 on the highway very quickly but then I'm comparing it to the "ultimate driving machine." I like the fact that we can always have enough room for "everyone." We were able to take 1/2 the basketball team to their game with much comfort. I really like the automatic doors that slide sideways, another handsfree option. I need to lower my head in order not to hit it upon getting into the driver's seat and I'm only 5'4"....read morehide

I traded in my 2008 Odyssey Ex-L with Nav. and rear entertainment for the 2012 EX-L. I tried to return the van the next day and was told my trade was already shipped off and they didn't have it anymore. What a disappointment in the drive. The dealership is not near the highway so the test drive was fine. It wasn’t until after I bought the van and got onto the Interstate that “buyer’s remorse” set in. The wife and I could hardly carry a conversation from the loud road and wind noise. The steering is much more sensitive and it felt like the van was getting blown all over the highway. My 2008 was much quieter and the drive was more enjoyable than this 2012. We travel a lot on the interstate and if I ever get equity back I’m trading it in as soon as I can....read morehide

- Pros
- Great Power and pick up, Comfortable and Roomy
- Cons
- Cloth Fabric is cheap and light coloured, Cheap tires
Purchased As New
Our 2012 Odyssey is our 3rd Odyssey and while some great improvements have been made each year, other features seem to be forgotten. First of all minivans are designed to appeal to families. Our Silver Odyssey has the lightest colour grey cloth that is not suitable for young children, spills and stains. We have had the 2012 for about 2 months now and just noticed that the 2nd row seat belts have been rubbing on the corner of both captains chairs and there is severe wear spots and visable yellow foam showing through. Prior to purchase I noticed that each year the cloth interior seems to get cheaper and cheaper, with the 2012 resembling almost craft store felt. While I will report this to Honda, I am wishing that I had spent a little more and went with the EXL (leather). Also came with Continental Tires which I'd never heard of but apparently available at your local Canadian Tire and Walmart. Our 2008 had Michelins. If anyone else has encountered any excessive fabric wear as well I'd love to hear from you....read morehide

Our second Odyssey. This one is more comfortable, better gas mileage (30 Hwy) and continues to be a most reliable car.

- Fuel, smooth, roomy, flexible interior, pockets pockets pockets, electronic hookups, solid feel
- Cons
- Low front molding / At the mercy of electronic side doors' reliability

Great vehicle. Got great price shopping my business online! roomy and flexible interior. Back seat has good room for adults, great electronic connections, comfortable seats. I'd like to know where my van's front edge is but cannot (and I'm somewhat tall) which makes it hard to judge.
