Purchased As Used
I just bought my Pilot a few weeks ago and during a recent trip hit a low spot in the road that had a foot of standing water in it and was thrown off the road into a muddy bar ditch. I tried to pull out, backwards and forwards but it was just too muddy, so I reached down and put the gear selector in 2nd, hit the 4x4 lock button and drove right out. If you're looking for a serious off-roader this is not the car for you - buy a Wrangler, or a Tahoe maybe. If you are looking for a safe, reliable, nice car with lots of seating and only use the four wheel drive in emergencies then you can't go wrong with this one. I am duly impressed with the Pilot, and I worked in the car business for another manufacturer for nearly twenty years.
