2006 Honda Pilot
There are 7 user reviews for the EX 4WD 5-Spd AT w/Leather and Nav System trim shown below
- Plenty of pep for a heavy car. Very comfortable and roomy for all the kids.
- Very disappointed with the fuel economy so far averaging around 15mpg
Fit and finish execellent. I got it fully loaded with the intention of keeping it for awhile. I was a little unsure of the the 4WD compared to something with true 4WD like the Jeep Cherokee which I currently have (the Pilot is for my wife who drives the 3 kids) or the Nissan Pathfinder which we considered before our purchase of the Pilot, but after a foot or more of snow last week, I am convinced it will do just fine.
The only real disappointments are the Nav system, Stereo System and Fuel Economy. The Nav system does not have a trip computer built in to show fuel economy and range left on the tank as the Acura's Nav does (ex. TSX). Also the stereo system is merely adequate and not up to competitors from Toyota and Nissan which have systems from JBL and Bose respectively. It is however integrated with the Voice Navigation so it works fine. I was expecting a little better fuel economy and the best I have gotten so far is aroun 15 MPG combined Highway/City driving (still better than the Jeep). I was hoping for a little better at least around 19 or 20, but we do frequently travel with 5 or more people so that is a plus.
