Regarding the tow package that you have to go through the dealer. I had the dealer install the transmission and power steering coolers to keep the warranty valid. I purchased the tow hitch and wiring harness via the internet and saved a good $450 over the dealers price. The holes are pre drilled and it was a snap for me to install. I do not plan on towing anything over 2000 pounds, so I don't see a problem there. As for the noise and ride complaints. We've been fortunate in that we have not experienced those problems. Fuel economy has been pretty much what the EPA has said for the highway. We live in the country and therefore haven't experienced what city milage is. For us this vehicle is more than roomy and confortable. Even our 6-6 neighbor can get into our car and be confortable. We do not have the moon roof, so that might be a factor with the head room. This is our 3rd Honda product. We had a 05 CR-V and I will say that it was not a highway car because of the road noise. Okay for city driving, but not the highway because of the noise. I guess we could have had extra insulation installed, but didn't. We do not plan on doing any off road driving as a general routine, but we do live in snow county and it does the job very well. I also prefer the AWD as opposed to the true 4WD in snow. If need be, you can lock the system into AWD, which comes pretty close to 4WD. As is we try hard not to drive in the worst weather if we can. Bottom line for us, this is a very nice automobile.
