- visibility, engine power
- poor reliability
Very annoying squeaking noise from the engine right after I drove off my 07 pilot from the dealer. They lube the belt first, then replace the tensioner bearing, now waiting for a new air compressor, who knows what is next. Spent a whole week back and forth to the dealer was very frustrated.
Owned an accord, CRV, and an Odyssey before. I think Honda is definitely going down hill in term of vehicle reliability, this may be the last Honda I ever want to buy...read morehide

- Sturdy, runs smooth and fast, fast exceleration, smooth braking.
- Sometimes a little noisey, radio doesn't sound good, fuel consumption
I love the way this SUV runs smooth, excelerates fast and sits up higher. It looks nice on the outside. Uncomfortable seats and radio is yucky sounding. Not very fuel efficent but other then those things it is a nice SUV.

- High-revving VTEC gives power and good fuel economy as well. VTM works and responds very well.
- a little road noise especially on concrete
My Honda Pilot LX 4WD is my first SUV and I just love it. Performs very well in the areas of power, economy, handling, and safety, of course. With 6 standard front and side curtain airbags all the way to the 3rd row seats. a little peace of mind is a good thing. In sweeping corners at 60-70 mph it sticks like glue with great steering response, not to tight not to soft, just perfect. also the VTM (on-demand-4wd) is just wwonderful. You can feel it kicking in when your rpm is below than what would normally be required in a particular incline. The only downside i noticed so far is the road-noise when running on concrete but i think it's probably the tires I'm using. It's Bridgestone H/T All-season tires . The reason I say this is that a friend of mine who owns a 06 pilot EX with Michellin tires on it, his rides smoothly on concrete and does not make much road-noise as H/T's make. Over-all, the Pilot is a great vehicle when your priorities are 2 kids and a wife who loves to bring along everyone for a ride as well as good fuel-economy coupled with power and Honda-reliability. Peace of mind and a little fun. That's what matters....read morehide
