Why not a hybrid, and need to include a tire valve extender to check spare tire pressure without lowering the spare tire.
VERY reliable SUV but managing the Navigation features are tricky if you are not a technical person.

Comfy, plenty of room for grandkids, love the backup camera. At 7800 miles with 15% oil.

Wish when all the seats are down, they would lay flatter. Slopes towards the back.

I have owned two Honda's prior to this 2012 Pilot (2006 Accord & 2011 Odyssey). Both were good vehicles. I purchased a 2012 Pilot for my wife a few weeks ago. Within the first 2 days it started having a problem staring (continually cranks without firing). I took it into the service department less then a week from taking delivery only to be told that Honda is aware of the problem and they don't know what the problem is or how to address it. They are "hoping" to have a fix by the end of March 2012. I then went to the General Manager of the dealer and expressed my frustration. He agreed to replace our Pilot and was able to switch it out a week later. All would be good, right? WRONG! After less then 500 miles on the second Pilot we are having the same issue. I am extremely upset with Honda quality and have vowed to never buy a Honda again. I hope anyone reading this will avoid purchasing one and going through the same headache my family and I have had to experience....read morehide

I've owned 3 Hondas now, the 2012 Honda Pilot is my 3rd. I loved my civic and my CRV. However, my 2012 Honda Pilot with 4,000 miles on it, at 2 months old, is already having starting issues. The car will continually crank and never start. I've got it at my dealership now, but it appears they can't fix it.

I choose this car over other SUV because its reliable and roomy. The interior design is so minimal and basic not like other competitors. It did not give me the WOW factor when it comes to style and accessories. Comfort is good, ride sometimes is hard, when you are full you feel the ride improves. Be advised that the Honda Pilot does have starting problems and Honda does NOT have a fix for it. The vehicle at times will continue to crank without starting or while starting the vehicle sounds as if it is starving for gas and that has been verified by Honda. Buy a Pilot...take your chances.
