- best of all worlds, utility, handling, ride, reliability
- MPG, lack of telescoping wheel
I traded a Tundra Access Limited. Great vehicle. The Ridgeline is better. It is the evolution in practical trucks. Unless you wear workboots to work this is more than enough truck. Otherwise, it rides and handles as good as sedans. After putting on aftermarket 18" wheels the truck looks much sharper. Only downsides are 13-14 MPG and not being able to find perfect seating position (no telescoping wheel). Does everything very well....read morehide

- Love the storage, Bed trunk is great idea.
- All four doors will not unlock when placed in park.
I haved owned my Ridgeline for 6 months. The Ridgeline has met all of my expectations. The trunk in the bed is large enough to safely store most items that can be placed in a car trunk. The interior is spaceous, even when 4 adults are traveling. The mileage has been consistent with the mileage posted on the sticker. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and after 6 months of ownerhip would still recommend the Ridgeline to anyone who enjoys comfort and needs to do a bit of light hauling or towing for work or recreation....read morehide

- fair fuel economy, excellent ride, great features, fair power, easy to use gps
- a little noisy at speeds over 65mph, leather feels cheap, no V8 option
This is a great vehicle to own. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a utility vehicle better than just a pick up truck. Love the navigation; it is very accurate, off by probably 50 feet from actual addresses. Voice commands very convinient. Honda really went the extra mile making this model truck. GM and Chevy BEWARE there is a new wonder in town......read morehide

- Nice looking vehicle, rides real good, navagation is a must 4 travel. Seats 5 great.
- Gas mileage is OK but should be better for a first time Honda truck.
1. XM radio should be free as long as you pay on truck.
2. Running board, rearview camera, fog lights, sport rack and door guards should already be on the truck that is considered the top of the line, at a list price of $35,000 or more.

- Interior comfort, responsiveness and ride comfort, safety, fit and finish, connect IPOD
- Bed and trunk easily marred, Blind spots
This vehicle was purchased as a SUV truck (SUT) not as a "real" truck. As a previous owner of a great chevy truck (towing 7000 lb), this vehicle is much smoother and quieter than my chevy or any truck I have ever test driven. If you are in the market for a vehicle that will:
1. Seat five average adults comfortably
2. Adequately haul mulch, trees, wood, bring home a new treadmill, etc.
3. Tow a boat (4000 lbs)
4. Drive smoothly and quietly on the highway even when unloaded
5. Provide luxury amenities
then you should test drive the Ridgeline. If you prefer value over looks (even though I like the looks most people are polarized - either love it or hate it) than this might be the vehicle for you. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this SUT in the city, highway, snowy roads, etc. Just make sure you understand what you are purchasing so you won't be disappointed. I feel bad for those who purchased the SUT thinking they were getting a full capacity truck....read morehide

- Pretty Much Everything on This Truck is a "Pro"
- 1 or two minor rattles
Reading the negative reviews here about the Ridgeline really makes me wonder if these folks have even seen, let alone driven, a Ridgeline.
I agree with the folks that say the Ridgeline is not a "heavy duty" pickup; because it isn't. It's not designed to tow 10,000 lbs. and take on heavy duty 4x4ing. Then again, neither is the Colorado, Frontier, and some of the other mid-sized pickups out there. With that being said, the Ridgeline does have the same payload capacity (1610 lbs.) as many full sized pickups.
OK, enough about other trucks; time to talk about my RL. I have had my RL for about 5 months now. Except for a couple minor rattles it has been pretty much perfect. It rides great, handles great, has pretty much all the "bells and whistles" I want, and is THE SAFEST pickup on the road today. It has excellent pickup (0-60 in around 8.0 seconds) and enough power to get you merging/passing in no time flat. Plus, the Navigation System is outstanding.
Some folks have complained about the MPG. Well, I recently got 21.32 MPG on a trip, with 2 adults, 2 children, and all the stuff needed for a week long camping trip. Let's see any full-sized pickups out there get that kinda mileage
So, long story short. While the Ridgeline is a "real truck", if you are going to be towing 10,000+ lbs. on a regular basis, or if you have to do some serious 4-wheeling to get you your camp/cottage/favorite hunting spot/etc. The RL is not for you. But, if you want a truck that handles great in almost every road condition out there (Try driving an RL on snowy roads and you'll never want to drive anything else on snow), a truck that will keep your family safe, a truck that will haul/tow most everything you need towed/hauled, and if you want a truck that is innovative and reliable...the Ridgeline is the truck for you!
Buy one now. You WILL NOT be disappointed!...read morehide

- fuel economy
- A truck gone bad!
Is this a truck or what? Who can it compete with? It has the least amount of everything and can't be compared to any entry level vehicle.

- Ultra Comfortable, Great Sound system, Fun to drive!
- Gas Mileage!
I read a few reviews that were less than great about the Ridgeline but I wonder if these people have driven anything else in it's class. This truck Rocks! I am actually on my second Ridgeline due to a refinance issue with my bussiness. I was amazed that I was able to switch trucks without losing a ton of money and heavy penalties. No american car has the residual value that allows you to turn in a lease and not get killed with negative equatity.
My new Ridgeline was an upgrade from a rtl w/moon to a rtl w/moon and nav. This truck is flat out awesome. The ride, the look, everything is totally superior to everything else in it's class. Anyone with anysense knows that this is the truck to buy....read morehide

- Very good looking
- engine power, noises, steers to right
We have about 7K on the truck. It is very comfortable and we love the navagator and radio system. It is not as comfortable as our 03 Accord to drive on trips and the engine lacks power compared to our 240 hp Accord. Fuel economy stinks both in the city and hwy.
Engine makes strange noises, the dealer said this is normal but my accord is quiet compared to this garbage disposal noise. Also the interior has sqeeks in the dash around the steering wheel. Took it into the dealer for this and they couldnt locate the noise source. Also had them check the pulling to the right, it was a disc brake hanging up. So after four days in the shop some things are fixed and some not....read morehide
