I out 38k on my truck sence buyinging it nem and it has proven to be a very capable rig. 85% of its life has been as a family "car" and a utility vehical and not a daily commuter and for those thing it has done very well. It hauled my family of 4, all our gear, a loaded tent trailer (full tanks) from Seattle to Mt Rushmore and back (3300 plus miles) and never complained. Will it do every thing a "full size truck" will, no but then that is really not the point of it. Truth of the matter is most people really dont need a full size truck....read morehide

- Great ride, enough room for a 4-5 person family, very happy with purchase
- Sound System could be a little better.
We just purchased this truck yesterday. We have been looking for sometime and the incentives on this vehicle where amazing. The Ridgeline has a beautiful ride, really feels like a car not a truck. The bed truck is great. We have a four person family and found that this truck offers us enough room to not feel cramped....read morehide

- QUALITY, FIT,FORM,FUNCTION
- LOW FUEL ECONOMY, STARTS HARD, no remote start or door keypad options
i like my ridgeline but am wishing i had bought a 2008 4X4 SUPERCAB F150 instead, i have 720 miles on my 2008 RTX,i am only getting 11-12MPG icity/highway (2/3rds highway), i drive with the cruise control on, have put in a K&N free flow air filter and drive with the A/C off, i have a 2003 F150 lightning that gets 15+MPG and i 'run' it aka i hit 8 psi boost out of the supercharger at least twice over the same routes i take with my honda...maybe i have a lemon ridgeline? i'll have them check when i take it in for its first oil change on march 17th......read morehide

- very comcfortable ride, ok fuel economy,
- feels like it needs a few more ponies under the hood
PURCHASED IN January and have put 1600 miles on so far. The ride is excellent but it still feels like a truck. Does really well in the snow and ice. Gas mileage has been around 16 to 17 mpg in mixed driving and i am hoping it will get better over time. My driving is mainly highway since i live in a rural area and commute to the city. Horsepower could be better it feels sluggish at take off. My wife drives a Mitsubishi endeavor and it has less hp but feels like it has more than the Honda. The in bed trunk is a great feature and The interior room gives the impression that your in a full size truck. Overall this is a very good truck and i would highly recommend it to anyone....read morehide

- Bed Storage, Spacious, Standard 4-wheel drive
- Road Noise, Underpowered, Breaking
This review is the result of seeing the Ridgeline at the local auto show and test driving right after.
One of the main features that I really apprectiate about the Ridgeline is the bed storage. It was surprisingly large and has a drain plug for it if you chose to use it as a cooler. To accomodate the storage compartment, Honda had to raise the height of the bed. By doing this, the bed is mostly just a flat truck bed without the large side wheel wells sticking out. The tailgate also opens to the side which helps access the storage compartment. I change my own oil and noticed that the drain plug and filter were extremely easy to get to. There would be NO need to lift the truck to do so. Really the only negative thing I found about the exterior was I thought the bed liner was just a little too cheap for my tastes. I really was expecting something a little more rugged.
The interior was well thought out, and has comfortable seats for all in the vehicle. It is very simple, but comfortable and provides a lot of storage. The rear seats do have a lot of leg room for longer trips and larger passengers. For those with car seats, the back seats have the anchor posts for it. The instrument cluster was very neat, clean and attractive. However, there were a few flaws for my convenience. The steering wheel does not telescope out. It is a little too close to the dash for my comfort. The radio does not have a plug for an mp3 player.
This is the most important part of the vehicle, but also the most dissappointing. I noticed that there was a lot more road noise than I would expect from this caliber of Honda. On country roads, I really felt like it rode more like a truck. I guess I was expecting a more smooth ride. The largest let down was the lack of power. When excellerating onto the freeway, I put the pedal to the metal, but the truck didn't want to go. The braking was okay, but could have been a litle stiffer....read morehide
