- Great Handling. Transmission is superb. A go-kart for the street.
- Horrible on Fuel. A bit rough. Redundant radio controls useless.
I have a 2006 Black S2000. It's one of the best handling cars I've ever been in. It rides a bit sough but that is to be expected from the race inspired chassis. Steering is very linear and communicates to the driver exactly what the wheels are doing. I'm compelled to write this review after seeing how some reviewers said the car was very fuel effiecient. The car uses fuel in ridiculous amounts. It is NOT fuel efficient at all. I'm filling this thing up once a week after putting maybe 200 - 220 miles on it a week. That is unacceptable. And my friend has an 05 and his does the same thing. So it's no fluke. The other thing is the redundant radio controls next to the steering wheel to control the radio. Absolutely unncessary.... Other than those two things, the car is superb. It literally handles like a go-kart. You have to drive this car right. Sneeze and you're off the road.... It does exactly what you tell it to do. Oh, and watch out for the blind spots when the top is up - wicked blind spots. Would I get another one again? Sure, just not as a daily driver. This car is a modern day classic. You'll be very happy with what it can do.
