This is a great car overall. Great appearance, comfort and reliability. A little higher in price than a Corolla but worth the price difference! Offers a smooth ride!

I bought this car new at what I think is a good price. This car is more fun to drive than anything I have ever owned. I had an Accord before this and this EX-L has way more power and doesn't seem strained at all to get up to speed in a hurry.

I have had my Civic for a little over a month now, and am happy to report that I have had no problems at all. The car runs great, has strong acceleration and handling and the brakes are top notch. It also gets great gas mileage as well.

Roof line is awful, carpet is cheap.

Plus - Drove from Pittsburgh to Oregon last year and got nearly 50 MPG and the ride was fairly comfortable.

Minus - the carpet is cheap, the seatbelts are hard to reach, the roof line drops so quickly that it's hard to get in and out of, the electronic accelerator makes it hard to pull out on a steep hill, as if the roof angle isn't bad enough (making it nearly impossible to clean the windshield) they put the speedometer as hump on the top of the dashboard to get in the way. As far as I know you have to go to a Honda dealer for windshield wiper replacements and the air cleaner is $15.00 at WALMART! Oh yeah, not to mention that the original tires wore out before 18,000 miles and the BACK ones wear out FIRST!...read morehide

Bought this car new. Have had a good experience overall. A little disappointed over the brakes because they seem to be noisy, the power under the hood is a little lacking and the shifter is clunky. However I would buy this car again even though I am usually near full throttle most of the time during acceleration to the speed limit and still getting great fuel mileaage which is what I bought the car for in the first place along with its sporty looks & Honda branding....read morehide

I bought a new (leftover) 2007 Civic LX in March of 2008. The car gets better than window sticker mileage. I get 36-41 mpg in real world mixed driving vs the 20 city and 36 hwy official ratings.

After 61K miles, I have had only one problem. The power lock on the driver's door failed, so I replaced the latch mechanism. The part was only $45 and took a couple of hours to install. My warranty was used up long ago, so I did the repair myself The car is durable, reliable, and economical.

It is NOT enjoyable to drive, It has a supersoft marshmallow suspension with an incredible amount of body roll. After my first roundtrip to work (traversng 3 mountains), I ordered a set of Civic Si swaybars off eBay and installed them the first weekend I had the car. They made an INCREDIBLE difference.
