If you're after a mid-size SUV or mini-van replacement, worth taking a look and driving. Skip the 2008 Pilots even though they're being discounted, The 09's are far better.

This is the first Honda we've owned, so far its been awesome. Found out its made in USA, thats a plus. You get the best space:economy ratio with this truck than with Durango, Equinox and Tahoe. Price may seem high, but try and build a Chevy or Dodge with the same options! Couldn't see paying extra $$ for Touring for Navigation and power hatch and some small extras.

Side by side with 2008 models, the size of this years model really stands out.

I wanted to purchase a 2009 Honda Pilot this year, but...as it turns out, I could not get the right package on a 4WD Touring with NAV and DVD because I couldn't "SPECIAL ORDER" the right color of leather interior that I wanted. I wanted a WHITE EXTERIOR with BEEIGE INTERIOR. The 2009 WHITE Honda Pilots do not come with BEIGE INTERIOR. I tried to "SPECIAL ORDER" one and everyone said it cannot be done.........HONDA CORP. WOULD NOT ALLOW IT!
IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF THE CUSTOMER HAD A CHOICE REGARDING THE COLOR OF INTERIOR WHEN TRYING TO PURCHASE THE VERY TOP OF THE LINE VEHICHLE.
WHEN I AM SPENDING $40,000 FOR A NEW VEHICLE THAT I AM GOING TO KEEP FOR MANY YEARS, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE INTERIOR THAT I REALLY WANT. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A WHITE EXTERIOR WITH BEIGE LEATHER INTERIOR (NOT GRAY OR BLUE, WHICH ARE THE ONLY COLORS OFFERED ON 2009) BECAUSE OF THIS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FACT, I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE 2010 MODEL COMES OUT TO SEE IF HONDA OFFERS THE WHITE HONDA PILOT WITH BEIGE INTERIOR. I THINK "SPECIAL ORDERS" SHOULD BE ALLOWED! IF THEY OFFER BEIGE INTERIOR IN THE WHITE HONDA PILOT IN 2010 I WILL PURCHASE ONE. MAYBE BY 2010 THEY WILL HAVE BETTER FUEL ECONOMY ALSO. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE! SQUARE WINDOWS ARE WONDERFUL!

Excellent overall. I bought the 4wd touring and drove it to Las Vegas, it rides great with all the equipments. Nice , no complaints at all.
All in all I paid $ 50,000 for it, I thought it's a little high, it just came out last week of May But it's worth it with my family riding in it.
