- Excellent ride, still turns heads, DVD headrests, back-up cam, hmmm...
- interior a bit plasticky/cheap, front right tire rubs when making tight left turn, not much else
BEST SUV I've ever owned!!! Being a professed addict of automobiles...I have fortunately been able to ride and own some nice SUV's ranging from Cayenne S to the military Mercedes G500. With no doubt...the H2 beats them all. It has the four-wheel drive prowess of the G500 but is much, much, much more comfortable to drive. And it turns heads more than the Porsche Cayenne.
Although a bit plasticky and cheap, the interior holds up pretty well and matches the sturdiness or "manliness" of the vehicle. Yes...the 2008 has an upgraded interior...BUT that type of interior is one reserved for the likes of the Escalade or GMC Denali. The exterior is certaily bold and I believe the interior should equally be BOLD. What really excited me about this vehicle was when the salesperson took me for a ride (and then let me drive) on the Hummer test track at the dealership. Granted I won't be driving on a 60 degree incline or a 40 degree banked curve in the near future...but the mere fact that this vehicle can perform such feats is quite impressive. Absolutely love the DVD headrests as they can play individually separate or the same movies. I like the fact that you can pipe the sound through all speakers if you like. Some folks may find this feature advantageous as it can help keep a sleepy/drowsy driver awake in the middle of the night.
Of course some people complain about the fuel economy...BUT really...when you purchase a vehicle like this you ought to know what you are getting into, in terms of substandard gas mileage. Personally I'm happy with the almost 12mpg I'm getting in combined city/highway driving. My 2006 F250 V8 gets only 9.5mpg. Aside from a few plasticky trim pieces, the only other con I can think of is the few times I receive negative smirks/looks/comments from fellow onlookers. Darn environmentalists.
Oh well...I say if you can afford one of these babys...BUY IT...you won't regret it. Oh did I forget to mention that it's FUN TO DRIVE!!!...read morehide

- Confortable ride. Gets noticed.
- Fuel economy, but not as bad as I expected.
SORRY FOR THE CAPS. VERY GOOD RIDE QUALITY. EXCELLENT VIEW FROM HIGH SEATING POSITION. BACKING UP CAN BE CHALLENGING, BUT THE REAR VIEW CAMERA HELPS. EXCELLENT SOUND SYSTEM (BOSE). NAVIGATION IS A BIT SLUGGISH. ACCELERATION IS ADEQUATE. FUEL ECONOMY HAS BEEN AVG. 11 CITY AND 12-14 HWY. NO REGRESTS SO FAR. I'VE GOTTEN MANY COMPLIMENTS. EVERYONE LOVES THIS TRUCK, SOME JUST CAN'T ADMIT IT. THIS CAR GOT AN UNFAIR REPUTATION DURING THE GULF WAR PEAK. MOST PEOPLE THAT HAVE THESE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT, LIKELY BUECAUSE WE FISH, CAMP, ETC. WE CARE MORE THAN YOUR AVERAGE SUBURBAN MALL RAT DRINKING STARBUCKS AND WHINING (THE PROCESS OF BUILDING ONE TOYOTA PRIUS CAUSES MORE ECOLOGICAL DAMAGE THAN ANY H2 EVER COULD). GET OUT THERE AND ENJOY LIFE AND THIS EARTH WHILE IT LASTS....read morehide

- lotsa add on assessories
- backup camera and needs one touch up windows
Got the black H2 HUMMER with alot of chrome added to make it a bit more individual than the usual black H2 out there. Overall have very little to complain about the H2 SUV. People ALWAYS approach about the gas and my wife and I have nothing to complain about. If one compares the H2 against the Suburb or EXT SUV caddy your not very far off. We love the almost 2 feet ground clearance as where we live from time to time rain/flooding and major storms like Katrina and Rita hit our area. For such a rough looking truck the interior is pretty nice. From heated seats to XM radio to daytime running lights there is not much we can ask for. There is plenty of room. The 3rd seat pops in and out no problem while the 2nd row seats pop down creating more
room than our former 07 Landcruiser ever had. Another positive not stated often is the outter body style mostly stays the same. When you see body style changing drastically every 3+ years that is usually not good for your resale value. It doesn't matter who we come across the F350 or Viper peeps, the H2 Hummer is always te talking point. We've got many new cars and the one that our sons ALWAYS wants us to take out as a family vechile is the HUMMER!...read morehide

- Smooth Ride, Great Offroad SUV, Dash Layout Awesome, very spacious
- Low Fuel MPG, But no worse than my F-250
This is my 7th vehicle and I absolutely love it. It handles well on the highway and performs well off-road. I purchased this vehicle after doing extensive research and talking to several H2 owners and everyone loved it. Im in the Military and deploy for about 6 months out of the year, so when Im home might as well drive what I want. Trust me wouldnt trade this Baby for any other vehicle out on the road. The main set back is the MPG, but this vehicle is not the vehicle to buy if your concerned about how much you spend on gas!!!! Plus I have no problem getting help washing it from my 7 yr old son loves his Daddy's HUMMER!...read morehide
