Purchased As Used
I currently on a 2000 Hyundai Elanta with over 150,000 miles on it. Other minor issues that have come up I have been very pleased with the Hyundai product. That being said, when I decide on purchasing a new car I didn't hesitate in test driving and, eventually, purchasing a 2006 Azera Limited Edition. I can truly say that I could not have purchased a nicer car for what was offered in the 2006 limited edition. Especial when I was able to get it for several thousands less than what a comprable vehicle of its class and options would have cost. From the moment you sit in the car you feel as if you are wrapped in luxury from the leather and wood throughout the vehicle, to the amount of room within the car (head, leg and truck). The 6 disc 8 speaker Infinity sound system is incredible and the convinence features are well placed and though out, to include the dual climate control, a sun shield for the back passangers, windshield washers that turn on when it rains automatically and heated seats (very nice on cold days). The safety features which include more airbags than was that on maybe injured in a crash, abs/traction control system, highly illuminating instrumentation, and much more, are a HUGE plus. There are a view cons to this vehicle. None that would make me regret my purchase but they are still areas that could use some improvement in later models. The most noticable is the acceleration, even though the Azera sports a 3.8-Liter, V6 offer 263 hp and 255 lbs of torque, getting upto speed can seems to take forever. The only offset to this issue is the shiftronic system that allows you to control the shifting manually. Next is the suspension, a little rough, it seems as though every bump resignates throughout the vehicle to a certain degree. The last con is more of an annoyance than a con, per say, the radio controls on the steering wheel do not allow one to change up and down between c/d tracks or radio stations. In the end the Azera is everything that a luxury car should be except without its major flaw, THE PRICE. I would highly recommend a hyundai to anyone who is interested in a make of vehicle and I would definitely suggest a Azera for those that are want to get a car that makes you feel pampered without cost you a fortune.
