- Massive interior space. Superb ergonomic layout. A lot of thought was put into creature comforts.
- Transmission has trouble finding right gear. Nitnoid small problems. Cornering leaves a lot tbd.
Purchased As New
Bought an aubergine (egg plant) Limited for 25.8k on a 32k sticker. Immediately impressed with acceleration, interior roominess, massive trunk, and superb ergonomic layout, big cup holders, both front windows with one-click up and down, rear privacy shade. Just too much to mention. But have had some issues that have needed warranty repair such as a gas gauge that just went dead, a dash that needed to be replaced because the airbag seams were splitting, and recently a transmission adjustment that I'm still not sure has fixed the issue. Overall superb car for the money. But nitnoid issues like a transmission that doesn't downshift quickly enough, soft cornering, front doors that will not stay open even on level surfaces, and a paint job that swirls when waxed make this car on the cusp of greatness, but not quite there. Would buy again for the same price. But at 25k, you're getting what you paid for. Buy this car for the long haul since trade in value is still dreadful for Hyundais.
