Hyundai refuses to honor any warranty. Do NOT be fooled by their advertising. If you have a problem, they will NOT cover it. I own 3 Hyundais all purchased in 2006. I have a 07 Azera Limited. It has plenty of power, the fuel economy is fine. The problem with the Azera, it's Korean. Cheap plastic parts. bought it new, and it was very nice, but it didn't take long for all the little things to start going wrong. Here's an amazing one for you. Had a plastic guard piece on the bottom of the car that kept falling down because one of the plastic screws had broken. The service people at the dealer thought it be best for the piece not to be replaced and just cut the front of the piece off, so half is missing. Got tired of arguing, so there it is. The list of little things that have gone wrong is too long. The car does look nice and the seats are comfortable, but I would never buy another one....Stay away from Hyundai....read morehide

bought mine new in 2006 have 75,000 miles on it - initial tires were replaced at 65,000 with good wear still left on them - no major mechanical problems - still purrs like a kitten - my hyundai dealer went far beyond anything any toyota or honda dealer were willing to do on a trade in deal. Its everything and more a toyota avalon can offer and I saved at least $10k on the deal....read morehide

What a great car. I cane from a ride on rails Audi A6 quattro which I loved (except for the maintenance issues) to this Azera. The Azera has more features, power, space and appointments than the A6. The price difference was enough to get me to switch and I've been happy with my decision. One thing to note is the quality of the Hyundai service. They have treated me like I was their best customer. They have bent over backwards every time I came in for routine service and if not routine, gave me a new Sonata (another great car) to use until my car was finished. They just keep getting better. I bought a used Azera two years ago after my Elantra decided it wanted to start shaking uncontrollably (too much snow in the undercarriage.) I was a bit hesitant however I am so glad I bought the Azera. I've received a lot of compliments on it especially from tall people who have had to sit in the back seat. It is very, very roomy I'm told. Plus, like I stated earlier, the Azera looks like it cost much more than it did. The interior is leather and very spacious and the car comes with all you need. I did not get the in dash GPS because that was an added expense but I love my Satellite radio, rear window shade, stereo system, etc. I adore this car....read morehide

I have a 2006 Limited Azera, and I love it. I went from driving a small economical car (PT Cruiser), so when I was shown this car, I was pretty lery. After driving it around for a while, I love it. I love the space inside the car and the trunk, all the amenities it has, and the fact that I feel safe in it. The only gripe I have, which is not necessarily the car's fault, is that it takes alot of gas, which at 3.81 a gallon, I spend about 65.00 to fill her up. I have a '09 Azera bot new.--I now have over 13,000 miles on this car. Simply put: EVERYTHING WORKS.--Absolutely no service (just oil changes). This car has all the "bells & whistles".
Rides like a big car--Handles nicely--Plenty of power--Lots of interior room.--I don't drive OFF ROAD as some auto adds show for other cars . I have no complaints.--What else can you ask for? If, after another 10,000 miles I change my opinion I will post again....read morehide

I have owned my azera two years. I could make a book from the receipts of service. When I looked at receipts for 2010 my car wsa in the shop for a total of 96 says. Folks that's over 25% of the entire year!. Warranty well laugh at that...sounds good but for example radio went out 2 years after new. NOT covered it is an exception replacement cost $1500.00. That's right folks read the warranty many many items not covered. Ya know I'm in my mid 50's owned many cars over my lifetime and had company cars too. Hyundai and the no support of the MFG and the warranty games they play I rate as my worst experience. Hyundai carries low resale value, I didn't care at purchase planned on keeping it. Now I can't get rid of it without a blood bath in losses. My problems have been...electrical, oil leaks, head gasket blown, radio out, transmission problems, replacement of entire dash due to cracking on and on. Before you blame it on me...guess whom has dome all the service on the car and maintence...that's right HYUNDAI! Run away from this MFG. Hyundai, well all the way from corporate offices to the US office in California you all have my number. Stand up make it right!...read morehide
