- Very stylish exterior, nice leather seats inside, dual a/c, power driver and pax seat
- feel bumps in the road more than I would have expected
Purchased As New
I trade in my 2011 Sonata Limited 2.4 liter for the 2013 Azera without the tech package and have had the new car for about a month now and have driven about 2700 miles.
Overall this car is very quiet, much more than the Sonata and it is very comfortable as I have already taken it on a 600 mile round trip. The gas mileage is pretty good for a V6 engine. I average between 30-32 mpg on the highway driving 70mph.
My daily commute is about 65 miles per day round trip in mixed highway and city driving and the car is averaging around 26 mpg. While the fuel economy is less than what the Sonata offered, for a V6 with a lot more power, I cannot complain.
The steering does not seem as responsive as what was on the Sonata but then again they are different cars. Since I had the limited before with the Infiniti sound system, I can say that I wish I had gottent the tech pkg as the base Azera includes the lesser DImension sound system which does not sound as good.
Overall so far I am pleased with the purchase as the dealership offered me a great deal on this purchase. I hope it turns out to offer me great service as the last Hyundai did.
One thing I really disliked in the Sonata was the front passenger seat. It was not adjustable at all and you sat very low in it. The Azera has power adjustable seats for the driver and passenger and they are much more comfortable.
I had also considered purchasing the Chrysler 300 Limited as it offers similar fuel economy. Overall I think my decision to purchase the Azera was a good one.
