Also touting the �Fluidic Sculpture� design Hyundai is so proud of, the Azera brings the lines and the presence to separate the Korean manufacturer from its prior reputation as a compromise. While not quite sporting the same level of interior quality as its Japanese contemporaries, the interior design still makes the Azera�s cabin a downright pleasant place to be. Standard amenities like heated front and rear seats, navigation and a cooled glove box make for bragging rights usually reserved for German sedans well into the next price bracket. Bragging rights can actually start before entering the cabin with the Lambda II 3.3 Liter GDI V6 achieving best-in-class specific output of 88.8 horsepower per liter. Should the 293 horsepower that adds up to get the driver in trouble, any of the nine standard airbags (including a driver knee airbag) will almost certainly be appreciated. Well before any airbags may be needed hopefully the relative lightweight of the Azera will allow for outright maneuverability to avoid a nasty situation. The 400 lb advantage Azera has over the Ford Taurus generally means greater agility, performance and fuel efficiency than its heavier competitor.
