Purchased As New
I bought this in June '11 fully loaded, out the door for $18.6k, and a .9% loan, and I think I got a steal. I love this car and drive the heck out of it, over 11k miles in 5 months. It's got great looks, excellent paint, and the fit and finish is top-notch. This is a fine commuter vehicle, no other brand can touch it, with an amazing array of creature comforts at this price. Comfort being the main concept here. I'm 6'1" and 240 and there's plenty of room for my long legs and my head. I did over 2500 miles in a week with a trip to MI from SC in this thing, and was highly impressed with how easy it was to drive long distances. I usually stop every 2-3 hours, but caught myself doing 5-6 hour stretches and not realizing it. While the cons show the vehicle isn't perfect, for the most part my cons are trifling. The car has enough pep to pass on a 2 lane farm road OK, and getting 28.5 mpg in mixed driving really isn't that bad. The 4 speed transmission is geared kind of high, and there's a pretty big gap between 2nd and 3rd, but it gets the job done even in hilly, twisty terrain. I'm almost completely satisfied with this purchase, and if the car holds up until the payment's run out, I'll likely get another Hyundai. Oh, did I mention I spent 25 years working for the Big Three? They need to take a look at this car to see how to build a compact vehicle for the masses.
