- Overall good car
- Heated seats don't heat up well
Purchased As New
I got the new Atlantic Blue with Beige leather and manual transmission. Great color combo with spoiler and roof cross rails.
For 21K out the door, good luck finding leather, moonroof, fog lights, heated seats, sport rims, and sport tuned suspension for less than that, and still have headroom and legroom and not be in a tiny car.
The heated seats are lame which is why I don't give it all 5 stars, the Koreans are worried about lawsuits from sue happy Americans, so the heat elements in the leather seats barely get warm. They have warnings about putting the elderly and very young kids on the heated seats, so when I saw that.... they don't want to get sued! Like the Mc'Donalds lady who spilled coffee, same type deal. This car does NOT ride rough, it is a sport tuned suspension, its meant to be tight. Get the regular Elantra if you want a softer ride. The interior dome lights are awesome how bright, and you can turn off the radio display at night if too bright, which is nice. U.S. News and World Report named the Touring the best buy for features and low price for 2011....thats pretty impressive. Great cargo space for 31mpg.
