- Nice look, Clean lines, Roomy Large trunk, Good Vision
- Ride noisy and under shocked Road noise 20m per gal overall Poor shifting points. No sound Guards
These cars look great. They have a lot of features on them.
The interior cloth is easly soiled. The tramsmissions shift points aren't programed right. Hyundia has been aware of this for two years and hasn't addressed it. The fuel milage is nowhere near the 28 city and 36 highway in the 2007 rating or the 24/33 2008 rating change. The car average is some where between 19-22 miles average. The road noise in the car gets bad after about 2500 miles and goes down hill from there. There are no sign of any sound guarding on this model. The engine are noisy when going to highway speeds with the passing gear ingaged. Brakes seem to grone after several months of use. You do have 100,000 power train warranty that's good, You will be needing it.
Bad Ride, Road Noisy, Tires Low Quality, Quality of Materials
Low I rate it a 4.6 on a on a 1 to 10 scale over all
For the same cash out lay the Toyota Corolla XLE is the only way to go.
The Corolla will out proform and get the best gals mileage in this class of cars.
The resale price there isn't any comparsion. For some reason the hyundias have a low low resale value even after only one year 4 year 1 third of it's selling price that should tell you something. Its no honda or a Toyoto by no means.
I sold my 2007 that had 12,000 miles on it for my 2008 Corolla that i have now 10,000 miles on and I'm getting the average 31 miles per gal. And it drive the same as the day that I bought it. I rate the corolla a 9.0 on a 1 to10 scale
Both of these cars were drove the same way and the same mix of city and highway driving. So it was a fair side by side
