2012 Hyundai Elantra User Reviews
GLS M/T shown
- $13,806 - $15,765
- No trim specified for this review
- poor visibility, lack of effective dealer service
Purchased As New
Do not expect to get 40 mpg with your Elantra as that is the “average” of the actual EPA performance range of 33 to 47 mpg. That means that fully one-half of all Elantras will fail to achieve 40 mpg. If you take 4 test examples achieving 33, 36, 44 and 47 mpg the average will be 40 mpg, yet half the cars did not provide the 40 mpg. If you think the Hyundai claim of 40 mpg is deceptive, try our local Hyundai dealer who regularly advertises “up to 47 mpg.”
