2013 Hyundai Elantra User Reviews
GLS A/T shown
- $16,965 - $21,115
- No trim specified for this review
- Good fuel economy, stylish, many standard accessories, great sound system
- No spare tire, poor sound system interface
Purchased As New
Overall meets my expectations. Fog lights and heated seats a bonus for the price. Have actually achieved 37 MPG on 300 mile trip. Have experienced some bogging down of the engine before it downshifts. The sound system interface is poorly located. When you insert the power plug it blocks the USB and AUX ports. Also there is no "always on" power outlet, such that you can charge devices when the car is not running. The biggest flaw is no spare tire. I was aware of that when I bought it. However if you read the warranties closely the use of the repair kit voids the tire and tire pressure sensor warranties. I find it a poor practice to have a repair kit sold with the care instead of a spare that voids the warranties. I was able to get a spare tire and jack kit online. The dealership was useless being able to help me get one. So far my dealership has been next to useless after the sale.
