Purchased As New
After much research, I recently purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited. This car looks great and offers you the most features for your money compared with models from other manufacturers at similar price points.
The car looks great, but thats about it. Less than two weeks after driving off the lot, I was in a minor accident where I was hit by a motorcycle head on. The cyclist was fine. It was a low-speed impact. He got up, gave me his insurance information and drove away - on his motorcycle. I however had a shattered fender, smashed out fog light and a busted suspension. To make matters worse, Hyundai has been a nightmare to deal with. Turns out they sold me a car they do not have replacement parts fort. Noteably, a 2013 Strut. Not only do they not have replacement parts for their 2013 models, they have no idea when they'll be getting around to making replacement parts, it could be MONTHS before these parts are available. Hyundai's Consumer Affair department has been utterly useless. They called the garage my car is at to ask for the status. Really Hyundai? - we're all waiting on you for that information!
So for now, my pretty new car is sitting in a garage collecting dust as I continue to make car payments on a vehicle that is not drive-able. And if anything happens to your new Hyundai - you will be in the same boat, so BUYERS BEWARE!9 out of 11 people found this review helpful.
