Why do people write reviews about a car they haven't purchased , and give it a low rating . Your opinion is like the old saying , everyone has one. If you are in the market of buying a new car only read the reviews on the people who actually bought the car.

Hyundai is trying very hard to bring luxury line in to US market. However, their people work like old days. Buy one Hyundai and they don't care if they come back to them or not.
I am having a problem with my trunk which opens randomly by itself and I even have the video of this happening. Yet, this service Rep refuse to fix my car and keep insisting I need to demonstrate to him in person. I already have video and why I need to show him which happense randomly. I have video showing this happening, but they don't want to fix the problem. Hyundai should train their people how to sell luxury car before they can bring their luxury line into US. Until then they should stay with their Accent....read morehide1 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

I bought this car in October 2011. I can't understand why some people think that Hyundai 20 years ago was junk, so this must be also. They are nuts. I will take this car any day over M-B S Class, BMW 7 series, or the big Lexus, and have an extra 20 to 30,000 bucks left over.
The power is fantastic- 429 HP- and the 8 speed transmission is seamless. On the highway, I am getting 25 mpg at 75-80 mph. In town 15 to 16 mpg.
Front seats are heated and cooled and the cooling really works. The steering wheel heats up in about 15 seconds.
The massage seats really work very well.
I hardly ever use a cell phone, but I got the bluetooth working in about 10 minutes.
There is double pane glass everywhere except the rear window which has a power shade. This results in a whisper quiet car.
The comfort and handling are just fine in a car of this class.
I enjoy it more and more every day....read morehide3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

It's going to take a while for people to look at this car in the same level as a 7 series or a s550, or they might never look at it that way but it's a good car price wise and the features it comes with. I mean you spend 80-100 thousand in a German car and they don't come to your house to pick up the vehicle when it's time for a oil change, brakes etc. Over all it's a good car for it's value and it's here to stay....read morehide

For all of the other reviewers, pay attention! It appears that I am one of the few who own this car, and it is truly head and shoulders above Mercedes and BMW in ride, comfort, and value. I traded in my last 750Li on this car, and the Equus could very well be the best vehicle I have owned in the last twenty years....read morehide

For those of us able enough to afford a 70k car we remember Hyundai and the $4k price tag it carried in the '80's, everyone knew it was a beater...well decades pass and we still remember. Yet, Toyota went through the same thing decades earlier and today they are marveled with some of the best built cars in the world. This is a very well built car with all the technological wizardry that commands this kind of price...HOWEVER, if Hyundai were to do it right they would have followed suit with the other car makers. Toyota makes Lexus. Nissan makes Infiniti. Honda makes Acura. Hyundai could have simply branched off made an exclusive pure luxury brand, after all the emblem on the Equus is different. 70k for a Hyundai...? Once you go into these dollars people pay for exclusivity and class, hence why the other 3 Japanese makers created separate divisions. The Koreans should have taken a cue and got a clue. Also once you are in this kind of power class they could have created a 500hp sedan to rival it's competitors further....read morehide

If this car was made by Infinity or Lexus, it would cost $125,000. Power. Room. Comfort. Luxury.

Hyudai produce real nice looking cars, and especially this car is good in perfomance and comfort compared to other
luxurious cars like lexus and bmw which is much more expensive.0 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

I remember back in the 80's and 90's when this car was all over the bad neighborhoods. Why would I want to pay top dollar for a car that had it's roots selling cheap?
