The Pro's greatly outweigh the one small con listed. We bought this for our 16 year old before I knew how powerful it was. He gets many comments on the great looks of the car.

First I would like to say, if you have a 2.0 model and complain about not having power your a fool, its a 2.0....nuf said. Secondly if you complain the back seat is to small, again, your a fool, its a sports car, not a mid sized sedan. People are morons who complain about this.

Its a great car, fun to drive, flashy, has plenty of power. I get around 28-29mpg on highway and 21mpg in the city, unless i drive like a fool so i get 18-19. As far as options i don't know what more you could want. Navigation, touch screen, voice command, basically anything and everything available. The only strange thing is if you get power seats the passenger never has power seats, a hundai thing. Thats the one thing i'd change. If your going to buy one, get the 3.8l...read morehide

Bought this car new two years ago, (can't wait till they dump in a higher horsepower six 2013). Have over 85,000 on it, knock on wood, only tires, and one set of brake pads (front). Tires last approx. 35,000 Z rated all season. Dumped the Bridgestones standard issue tires after 30,000. No tread left. Love this car, would buy another one in a heartbeat! I'm holding out for the 2013 model, hope to get at least 150 to 175,000 on the odometer before I trade it in. Mechanically sound, run synthethic motor oil only since the first oil change. Absolutely one of the best cars I've ever owned. I usually change cars every two years, but I continue to drive this over my wifes BMW's. I purchased this car for my wife after comparing Mustangs and Camaros. Wait, there was no comparison! Got my first speeding ticket in 25 years but the officer backed the speed down by 20mph! Him and his partner gawked the entire time. Because the Genesis is low to ground you must be careful on steep inclines not to drag.

Overall this is a great vehicle! It has great body lines and is very sporty. It attacts lots of attention. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a great car for a great price.
