- Handles well when pushed hard

Purchased As New
I had no intentions of buying this car when I entered the Hyundai dealership. As it happened, it was the end of the month and there was a healthy rebate going. The price was too good to pass up. I've logged 15K miles on my 3.8 and have been pleasantly surprised with its durability, performance and handling. I spent 32 years in public safety and drive my cars hard. This one handles well at high speeds, its generally quick (a slightly annoying hesitation on acceleration) does better than expected on hard curves and cornering. It offers great power in passing and on steep hills. A few years ago I'd never have considered owning a Hyundai. I was actually in the market for a slightly used 535 BMW when I bought this car. The Genesis is actually quicker and alot less expensive to own...
