I purchased this car new after test drives on BMW 5 series,Lexus E350, Toyota avalon,Acura TL and Audi A6. No comparison in price, room( I'am 6'5) , quality and 100,000 mi warranty. You can pay much more for the above brands but get the same quality and luxury for 10,000 to 15,000 dollars less with the Genesis. My Genesis 3.8 is equipped with both the premium and tech packages. The car has been driven 1,500 mi so far and no issues. From a former Acura, Bmw driver I never thought I would ever be driving a Hyundai. Great job Hyundai!!!...read morehide

So, I just got back from test driving this car...actually 2 of them. The car is great overall, comfortable, lots of power, lots of options, but I felt the need to do this review so people would know my experience I n the hopes it may save someone a lot of time and aggravation. During the test drive I was loving it, I decided to take the test drive on the highway to test road noise and some other things. This car has a MAJOR alignment issue right from the factory, pulls hard to the right. I tried it in all 3 lanes of the highway, and on multiple different roads. Even brand new paved roads the car pulls badly. Took that one back and got in the exact same model but different car, same problem. They had a third one there, didn't want to even bother. They offered to do an alignment, but pls do not be duped by this. This is a defect from the factory and Wil be a continuing issue, no number of alignments will fix it.
Had the same issue when theChrysler 300 c first came out and ended up in a war against Chrysler where an area rep argued with me and said it was "in spec" and nothing could be done, yet it was chewing up tires every couple thousand miles.
I'm only letting you know to look for this issue on your test drive, it's def bad enough to notice on regular roads at pretty much any speed, just gotta look for it. Too bad too, I was ready to buy...read morehide9 out of 16 people found this review helpful.

My husband "encouraged" me to trade my Z4 BMW for the Genesis. I have not regretted the change. It is a wonderful car -- beautiful to look at and a most comfortable ride. I would be pleased to recommend it to my friends and family.

This is my sixth Hyundai that I have purchased from Dennis and from Seth Solis. I’ve sent many of my family and friends to visit Seth because he is a true professional who takes the time to explain all the wonderful features Hyundai has to offer and can help with the whole car-searching process. I have loved every one of my vehicles. Thanks for being honest and so very helpful....read morehide

- Pros
- quality, comfort, standard features
- Cons
- not enough storage space up front, no fold down rear seats

Shopped around for a full size luxury car and, after test driving a bunch bought the Genesis. Could not be happier with the dealer and the car.
Rides like a touring sedan which is what I wanted (quiet, soft, comfortable). Decent mileage. All the features found on far more expensive cars.
Everyone praises the vehicle and then does a double take when I tell it's a Hyundai.
Not a perfect car, but damn close....read morehide2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

I traded my 2006 Z4 BMW for the 2012 Genesis. It is easy to handle and has a lot of space inside and in the trunk. A good value for the price that I paid. Since purchasing, in April 2012, at least 2 people in my block have purchased the Genesis.

Love the car except the fuel filling problem. Every time I fill up it overflows. Dealer tried to fix it but no success. Buy snow tires on all four wheels for good winter driving.
