2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
There are 8 user reviews for the SE trim shown below
- Great look, comfortable seating (even third row), impressive interior, smooth ride!!
- Gas mileage (but was used to compact car)
This is just an awesome car (even get comments from my teenager kids' friends). We love the flexibility of the third row split seat. The bumper to bumper warrantee is great. If I perceive any problems, I just drive it into the dealer for a check!! It is truly a wonderful car and I would recommend any one contemplating purchasing a SUV to look at this. THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! My friends who have the "more expensive" SUVs are really impressed with my Santa Fe. My sister was so impressed, she bought one the same day I picked mine up at the dealership....read morehide

- Power Horse, Theater Like seating, Effective A/C, Pleasant Ride and more competetive price.
- Better to add Navigation,DVD, Subwoofer & Dual A/C controls though it costs few more hundreds.
It is a new sensation and a great come back in 2007 by Hyundai. It is a new innovation in Mid Size SUV segment. But Hyundai failed to compete with its rivals in marketing this wonderful product. Hyundai didn't bring Santa Fe near to customers, I mean people didn't get enough chance to see this Vehicle on TV or paper. It is always better not to sell this vehicle in different packages. Customer might think that he was cheated or robbed. Every thing should be equipped properly, even though it costs few more hundreds extra....read morehide

- a little lud in rear suspention
very nice looking. handles very well. i would compare to a high end suv. great acceleration with the 3.3 liter engine. but it does bring the fuel econemy down some.

Just got our first Santa Fe...the 2007 SE in white with beige interior.
WE LOVE this vehichle. Have had it for about 6 weeks now.
Very comfortable front seats.....user friendly features and it rides
so smoothly. (We have the 6 cylinder engine because we travel on
interstates a lot and wanted the acceleration ability.)
One thing I really like is the heater doesn't take forever to warm
up. You get heat right away.
We previously had a Mazda VAN which was getting alot of miles so
we traded that for this Santa Fe......and we have no regrets .
The Santa Fe is a great SUV for the money. THE NEW style and shape
is really classy, too. It looks very similar to the Nissan Murano which
is priced about 10,000 more ! !...read morehide

- Cargo space, MPG, smooth ride, ABS, Stability Control, Air Bags
- Seat padding a little thin
After driving 2000 Olds Intrigue for 7 years it was time for a new vehicle with more cargo space. We looked at over a dozen vehicles in this class (VUE, RAV4, Equinox, Tribute, X-Trail, Escape, CRV, etc.) and finally picked the Santa Fe. The most important factors for us were MPG, cargo space, horsepower and price. The deciding factor was the price and all the extra's you got that the others had as options. Most notably were the safety features of ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution, Stability Control, and Air Bags galore (front, side, and curtain).
After driving it for awhile now we are very impressed with the smooth ride and feeling of control. This is our first SUV/CUV and we were concerned it would drive like a truck, but it's only 4 inches taller than our car and it really does drive like a car. I would highly recommend this vehicle. If you are considering a much more expensive SUV like a Pilot, Lexus, Volvo, or even a Mercedes you still might want to take a look at this. It doens't have the brand-name prestige, but you get the same features for $15-20,000 less!...read morehide

- Beautiful interior, exterior. Safety features second to NONE. Great acceleration.
- Height getting out of vehicle is a little high, need more interior light w/doors open.
Bought one for my daughter at college. I drove it for 600 miles to break it in. I didn't want to give it back! Beautiful interior. Dash is gorgeous, especially with the lights on. Some complaints here about no rugs included, but the $95 optional rugs are the nicest in any vehicle out there. The rest of the interior, fabric, headliner, etc. very nice. Lots of power with the 3.3 engine. Styling reminds me of BMW SUV at half the price. Room for three large adults in second row. Bottom line: We love it....read morehide

- Appearance, price, features, fit and finish, 7 passanger seating, nice controls
- Fuel mileage appears to be fair: 18-21 mpg.
We got the SE with the 3.3L. I would prefer the GLS with a 2.7 but the final drive ratio in the automatic is way off. 3000 rpms at 70 mph and no 5th gear overdrive! The 3.3L is a nice road machine and the gearing is good. The MPG is just less than spectacular. OK, that being said this is a GREAT vehicle. It looks great, rides great and we love the 3rd row of seats and their design. This car is well thought out and delivers a LOT of value for $24,500. We got the touring package on top of the SE trim. Neat trip computer. The AC is something you have to operate. The "ultimate" package includes a digital fully automatic AC control which might be worth the extra money. The only other observation is the seat. In our trim level it is a manual seat. If you are used to power seats then get the trim level that includes them. Nothing wrong with the manual seat in this vehicle, put a power seat is better and has more adjustments....read morehide
