- Good looking, comfortable seats, great value
- Weak V-6, overall comfort doesn't match the comfort of the seats, UNRELIABLE.
I change cars every two years and usually change between brands. The last car I had was a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE, and man that was a great car. I already put 89,000 miles on it so decided to get a new car. I sold the Altima for $14,995 which basicly paid off the Hyundai. It was a good looking car, great warranty, which didn't matter because I dont have time to take it in to the dealer at all. My 2000 Toyota Camry had no problems at all, and the Altima just needed a new battery at 79K. So I expected this car to be as good right? The reviews sounded great. So I went off and bought it and the first problem that occured was the power seats stopped working. Dealer fixed it at no cost. Than the ac knob came off, and the dealer put a whole new set of knobs at no charge. Than the tachometer and gas gauge stopped working. The dealer had great service and gave me loaner over night(which happend to be a Sonata with the powerseats not working). The next morning, I took it back and the speedometer stopped working. Again, fixed at no charge. Now this is a problem I never expected: The engine suddenly coughed, went to 3500rpm than died. The dealer said that my car was a lemon and will give me my money back or a car on the lot on the payment I have now. I chose the car, a 2004 Infiniti G35 that they say was from a repo-auction. I am very satisfied with the dealer, but the car was a flop. I likely wont chose a Hyundai for another few years.
