We purchased our 2005 Sonata almost two months ago. It was a demonstrater with 3,800 miles on it. We bought a black one and it has the tan interior. The V6 is pretty responsive and seems adequate as far as power is concerned, I wanted the V6 because we live in the mountains of Western, N.C. and I felt it would come in handy. This car rides like a luxury car it is quiet and an enjoyable car to drive. This is an up and coming company and the AMerican made as well as the Japanese brands are going to have some tough competition when people realize how much car you get for the money. Warranty is great there's not one of the American big three who apparently has that much confidence in their cars to 6 year 50,000 mile bumper to bumper and 10 year 100,000 mile power train on their vehicles.
Gas mileage so far has been 18.3 to 21.7 in town and 31.7 highway. Though the SOnata for 06 is redesigned it looks like good and has more opions as well as standard options than the 05. Great family car or for someone looking for a touch of luxury without the price.
