I now have 2 Sonata hybrids a 2011 (13,000 miles) and 2012 (1000 miles). They are the best cars I have ever owned. They are very smooth and steady in accelerating, steering and braking. The seating is exceedingly comfortable in either cloth or leather seating. Mileage has been excellent. I get 42+ MPG with either car. My wife is less compulsive at attending to maximizing EV mode and she gets 37-38 mpg in primarily city driving. The safety features and high ratings provide security when transporting family members. One can probably get higher mileage with a Prius, but the Sonata has the most interior room of any hybrid sedan for less than $50,000. I fell that this is an excellent value and an exceedingly safe car that is very pleasing to drive and has excellent electronic technology such as Bluetooth and electronic proximity detection.
