Rented this car on a trip and drove it for 3 days and the wife and i were so impressed we decided to buy one.Quality of everything was top notch. these guys have really improved the quality of their product over the years.

THIS THING SHOULD NOT COST MORE THAN $12000.
ALL CHEAP MATERIALS WHICH ARE PEELING, SAGGING,BREAKING AND NOT DISIGNED FOR THE LONG RUN. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON ALL THE TIME. A LOT OF HYUNDAIS ARE NOT PASSING SMOG TESTS WITH 30000 MILES. YES YOU HAVE WARRANTY BUT YOU DONT WANT YOUR CAR IN THE SHOP ALL THE TIME!!!

I really like this car. 33 MPG City 39 MPG Highway I bought it new in 2011 and now have 6500 miles on it.

This is the best car I have ever owned with the features, looks,power and MPG. I've previously been a honda and Mercedes owner before. Even the standard tires that were on the car are still good and I have 33k miles on my vehicle in just over 1 year and 4 months and just under half the tred left. Overall the design is just awesome! Looks very stylish and sporty. Who would have known a Hybrid could look and feel so good.

My only complain would have to be the rims. They look awful and don't go with the car.

But thats just me.

We love our new Sonata! It is an SE with the handling package so there will be some road noise with certain surfaces but the cabin has been super quiet when on the highway rain or shine. We still smile everytime we get in the car. I have owned over 40 cars in 25 years and feel this is in the top 5 for sure. Time will tell on durability but for now we are very happy!...read morehide

Unbelievable quiet interior, smooth ride. Agile steering with all the amenities of a true luxury sedan but less painful on your wallet. Incredibly reliable on every road trip with the feel of luxury with every mile.

A little road noise at highway speeds on rough roads

I drive alot as part of my job and have nearly 40,000 miles on this car since October.

It is everything I hoped it would be when I took my initial test drive. It gets great gas mileage and its very comfortable even when I have to spend 6+ hours per day in it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Hyundai did on the interior. Every detail was well thought out and executed. Things are easy to reach and logically placed.

200 HP engine is really powerful for a 4 cylinder which is really important when you have to pass a semi on a two lane highway. I have ZERO problems with the car.

My only complaint, if you can call it one, is I get a little road noise on rough roads at highway speeds (70-75). Now If I paid $40-50k for the car I would be a little annoyed, but at $22k, I have no problem with it and its not bad enough that I even need to turn up the radio.

I traded in my 2010 Camry to get this car and I am not going back to Toyota if Hyundai keeps making cars like this. The Sonata is just a much better bang for my buck....read morehide

I found a two flaws in the outside finish of the car.

I was very impressed the first time I saw and drove this car. After reviewing and driving several cars I settled on the sonata. The only issue I have is the two paint finish flaws I found the first time I washed the car. I have to say I am disappointed that hyndai did not catch these problems before they left the factory.That tells me that maybe they have quality control issues.
