First off my tib is still working in excellent condition and is really a sweet ride for the price. Wait for the 2005 though because they'll have a better sound system and look a little more modern. They're suppose to be faster also because of less weight. Now for your questions.
On the gas miles, my v6 is ok. I get an average of 22 per gal. Thats with about 2/3 city driving. It uses 87 oct. though which is a plus.
As for aftermarket, I have found more tiburon parts available. You see hyundai has that 100k warranty, but in order to make sure their parts last they hold back on the cars power alot. So that makes room for many improvements. :)
