Pros Looks good, great rear leg room, lots of great interior features and space
Cons Wierd Stalling while driving
Purchased as New
I needed a bigger vehicle for our growing kids and my college midsized car was not going to do it for us anymore. Needed great rear leg room and head clearance. Needed more storage space in the back without making the car length too long so that I could still park it in the city. This Tucson met our needs. Love all the features that came standard. I am not big on builtin Navigation systems because they are a pain to update\upgrade and unnecessary expense. Use my smartphone with the bluetooth feature and I am covered. Love the Remote Auto Start feature. My smartphone fits in the the eyeglass holder so I am able to use it as a Faux Tv for the kids for long trips using the bluetooth in the car for surround sound while it is plugged into the power outlet. The Xm radio is a hit with family members. As for storage: We are on summer swim team league and the back fit out screened canopy, 3 folding chairs, cooler, tarp, swim bags, and other misc car cleaing and emergency items; We are also doing a lot of camping and it fits the tent, chairs, cooler, and fishing poles. Will not fit a bike without folding the rear chairs. BUt that is solved with a bike rack on top of the car. Learned how to pair my ipad and ipod to the vehicle so the kids can use the speakers too. Learned the hard way that there was a Valet mode. Love MAlloy Hyundai Service for regular maintenance. They always clean the car in and out. Thanks Susie! Love the fact that after a year, the car still looks brand new. The diamond silver is soooooo Shiny. I only clean the interior once a month (vaccum and wipe down). I do get the outside cleaned every 2-3 weeks and include a hand polish.
We have taken the car from MD to NC and VA to PA. We have put 13000 miles on the car so far and plan on keeping it for 10 years or more....MoreHide
Pros drives great and has 26,000 miles and nothing has gone wrong yet
Cons gas mileage
Purchased as New
I get an average of 19 mg on this car over the 26,000 miles I have had it. I talked to the dealer about this and they told me it must be my driving habits. I am 60 years old and this is my 17th new car I have purchased in my life and the first one that I have complained about the advertised mileage. So I guess my driving habits have changed! NOT!!!...MoreHide
Pros Good fuel economy
Cons Too much noise on the highway
Purchased as New
I bought this car on 2/18/2013, so far no problems. With the exception of the noise on the highway.
