I have only had my new 2008 Hyundai Tiburon SE for about a week now, and I've driven it a lot. I haven't found any to complain about at all!! I LOVE this car!! It's fast and handles very well. I owned a 2001 Tiburon before my 2008, and this is a HUGE improvement. The body style is very sexy, and the interior ROCKS!! I got a great deal on this car as well, along with "Tires For Life".

I got a sick deal, out the door with the SE at 21,000.00 after random fees. If you're looking for a car around 20K that's going to give you your moneys worth, this is the one. It's fun to drive, but I feel like I have to shift too fast even durring normal driving. But it's still fun. I'm debating trading it in when the Genesis comes out. But it's still up in the air. Either way this car is amazing and I installed a custom In-dash GPS. Double-din Pioneer AVIC-Z3. It looks like it was suppose to be there the whole time. Hyundai really has come a long way in a short 10 years. I test drove a mustang and 350z. The 350z was a nicer ride but for 8 grand more it wasn't worth it. And the mustang was just not as nice as they use to be after the test drive.

I love my car. Its fun, its sporty, and it is unbelievable how much stuff you can fit into it. I drive a ton of miles with my business and that is why I bought this car since my Trailblazer was killing me in gas, before it $2. 00 + gallon. Now at $4.00 and going up by the day, I am really happy I bought this car. I would recommend this car and I am buying another one before it is discontinued and replaced by the Gemini 2010. I read the review from the guy about the bad roadside service he had. Guess I am just lucky never had a probem. I called them for a flat tire and they were there in less than 20mins. My dealer took care of any of my problems, all were minor problems. Find a good dealer, check out the service dept. first and you should be okay, make sure you fill out all servays since Hyndai is very strick with there dealers.

I owned a 2003 Tiberon GT and loved that car. Sold on E-Bay for only 2,000,00 less original price. (only 9000 miles and never in rain or snow and driven only in summer, New Tibe has new features such as auto air , New blue dash light and styling and better exhaust. This car can be made to run much better with only chip upgrade. May also buy a 2009 Genesis coupe when it arrives but will be a bigger car with 300= h.p.

At first look you say Wow! looks like a porshe gt or sleak 455 gt or something exotic.Then you find out on the 6speed v6 on highway or
city you can not stay in one gear with out it bucking to shift.Way too short running gears at any speed! you almost have to race the rpm's just to drive . I would say get a small 4 cyl auto for this type of car and keep it a little ugly like other year modols.I I traded out 3 months later for new ford Fusion.A little less power alot more car and ride.

The Hyundai tiburon is a great car..... i love that it has a warranty of 10 years / 100000 miles.... this is great....and you buy the extended warranty...which is like 1600 extra everything is paid for as long as if falls under the 10 years or 100000 miles...and a plus is you get a free rental car at the dealers expense if your car is being working on!!! I love this car overall and would recommend that anyone who is anyone that loves sports cars to go out and buy a Hyundai Tiburon....you will be very satisfied with the quality and appearance of the vehicle. GREAT CAR HYUNDAI!!! =)

The 2008 models have barely changed since 2003. I own a 2003 GTV6 manual model that I purchased new. 70,000 miles later and not a single mechanical problem. The power is quite low for a V6 (thank goodness the torque makes up mostly for the lack of HP), but compared with the cars it's competed/competing with in the market this car is almost dead even if not slightly better than the others. Anyone that says the others (the last Celicas, RSX's, Civics, etc.) are vastly better than the Tiburon are biased and/or not spec informed. The Tib is very well matched with the competition. Keep in mind the Tiburon is priced less and offers more standard equipment for equally priced alternatives. Keep in mind this is a sport compact, not a true sports car. My car is still quick and I love the exhaust sound from the inside. The ride is definitely harsh and road noise is quite loud. I always have my stereo on so it really isn't a problem. My stereo is great and I'm sure the 2008 models w/ Kenwood stereos are just as good if not better. I'm 6'2" and originally had a slight problem with headroom but after adjusting the seat and breaking in the seat cushion I fit perfect. I personally dislike the front end of the new Tiburon which is why it doesn't get top marks on appearance. Just remember that you get what you pay for... This is a sport compact so the pricing is affordable. The next Tiburon (if it's still called a Tiburon by then) will not be a compact but a real RWD sports car. The pricing will reflect that. If you like the current Tib and it's in your price range, don't wait for the next gen Tib. It WILL be priced higher.

I have a 2006 Tiberon GT LTD with the V6, love it, love it, love it! It's my 2nd Hyundai and I can't say enough good about the company and it's vehicles. I still love my Tiberon even though it is not very comfortable for long road trips. Very stylish and well designed, eye catching inside and out, runs great, I've never had any problems with mine and would definitely buy another! I am currently planning to purchase a Sante Fe V6 as well so I have a more comfortable and family friendly ride for longer trips.

I love this car. I'd been wanting one for 6 years and finally got it. I love the sports car suspension on turns, sitting low and the profile. I got the 4 cylinder and I got 29.7 miles on my first fill up. It has PLENTY of leg room since I'm very tall. I like to Kenwood stereo rather than the normal factory crumby stereos.
