I aways get peoples attention when I drive this car! Everyone talks to my about it, and wonders what kind it is! I have had nothing but complements since I bought it!! No Regrets!

My FX-45 is a kind of car that you will remember even when you can drive anymore. Is precious and lovely and the best is that this car is the kind of car that let you be like and artist.

Lots of power, great handling, hot styling, very unique and tops in quality.

My only negative is that it rides a bit too hard.

Response and overall ride is very sports car-like. You forget you are in an all wheel drive suv when you are gliding down the highway, especially when you step on the gas at 70 mph and it takes off as if you were standing still.

It's amazing how the car draws a lot of attention...even when parked.

The interior is roomy, expandable, plush, with seats that are very supportive. And the rear-view camera is the bomb.

WoW! Comfort, style, AND performance- and I mean performance! You know if you love or hate the style at a glance- and most people LOVE the style. Compared to any other small SUV, this one out styles them, out performs them, and out classes everything in its class- for far less than a lot in its class.
If you want to tow anything up hills- get the V8. The V6 is fine (and I mean FINE+) for city driving, but it's not as peppy hauling a couple of SkiDoos up a hill as I'd like. The nav system is picky and a pain.
Very happy with the car, and would buy another one.
Others I considered:
Accura MDX, Honda Pilot, Volvo's SUV (X90?), Toyota Highlander & 4Runner, Lexus RX330. The FX was far and away the best handling, and best looking small SUV out there. Give it a test drive- you will know in 30 seconds if you love it or hate it!...read morehide

Fuel economy takes a little getting use to, Rides rough when sitting on 20" wheels

This really is an awesome automobile. Very comfortable inside although the ride on the 20" wheels can get a bit bumpy. Takes a little getting use to the gas mileage when switching from a sedan but I the FX to compared to other similar equipped vehicles and it's about the same if not better on the gas. The Mercedes ML55 AMG has very good acceleration although not quite as high as the FX but is plaqued with quality issues and gets lower mpg. The BMW X5 has the handling but not nearly the acceleration and is worse on gas. So after test driving most, if not all, the SUV's in this luxury class I found nothing else quite like the FX....read morehide

Overall this is the best you can do in the category. Get ready for some choppiness with those 20 inchers though.

IS IT WRONG TO LOVE A CAR THIS MUCH?!? I DID A GREAT DEAL OF RESEARCH AND SHOPPING AND DROVE THE V8 CADILLAC SRX (FEELS LIKE A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE) AND THE LEXUS RX (ELEGANT BUT NOT MUCH POWER, HANDLING NOT A PLUS). THIS CAR IS BY FAR THE BEST. THE AWD IS INGENIOUS--NEVER AWARE IT'S NOT A RWD SPORTS CAR. THE POWER IS AWESOME AND AVAILABLE FROM A STANDING START ACROSS THE BOARD TO A BIG KICK DOWN WHEN ONE IS ALREADY EXCEEDING THE SPEED LIMIT. THE CAR HANDLES BEAUTIFULLY WITH LITTLE OR NO BODY LEAN. I HAVE A 110 MILE ROUND TRIP TO WHERE MY HORSE IS BOARDED AND SINCE I'VE HAD THE FX45, THE TRIP HAS ALWAYS BEEN FUN! THE TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE IS DEFINITELY WORTHWHILE--THE BOSE STEREO IS WONDERFUL AND I'VE PUT HIGH END AFTER MARKET STEREOS IN CARS BEFORE--WITH SATELLITE RADIO, YOU'RE READY FOR A ROAD TRIP.
I NEEDED THE ROOM THE CAR AFFORDS BECAUSE I CAN FOLD DOWN THE SEATS AND LOAD UP MY SIBERIAN HUSKIES FOR A RIDE. I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAR--I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD DAY IN IT.
