- This car rocks!! Handles great, can merge onto the highway with no problem.
- Side mirrors are a little small
Purchased As Used
As for gas mileage...it's a performance car and I average 20 mpg in mixed hwy and city and about 24 to 25 mostly hwy @ 80mph. I think thats awesome!!! I have had it for 10,000 miles. I have not had it in the snow yet but look forward to it. I forgot to mention on a recent 600 mile trip, I was very comfortable. A true pleasure to drive anywhere, anytime and any distance. I am 6' 215lbs....read morehide

- Fast, smooth, luxurious, convenient
- Design could be a little better, don't like the shape of the headlights.
I really feel the designers of this car thought about all of the little things which is what impresses me most. I can brag about the speed, handling, comfort, and convenience of this car, but you'll read about that in every review because it's simply true. What's more important to know about this car are the little features that it comes with, features most people wouldn't think about. IE: The one touch on all windows, the seat and steering wheel moving every time I get out of my car to make it easier for exiting and re-entry, the one touch moon roof, the positioning and mobility of the air vents. No car in it's class compares, especially for the price. This car has everything you've ever thought a luxury car should have and more....read morehide

- Comfortable and looks great.
- OMG that gas mileage I don't pass 300 miles on a tank.
I love my car, but the gas mileage is horrible. Also, you could easily be driving 100 MPH and not even notice. Be careful speeders. =)

- Good acceleration, Bose Sound, Navigation System, Seats
- Poor quality brakes, high maintenace costs
I have been leasing a 2005 G35X for less than two years now. It had less than 5,000 km on it at the time I began leasing (Manager's demonstrator). The car looks and drives great. I was not prepared to spend an average of $100/month on maintenance costs. Brake pads and rotors wear out far too soon for my liking. Last service bill was in excess of $1,750 Canadian for 48,000 km. Rear brakes are due to be fully replaced on next visit. If you set aside $100/month in addition to the cost of your lease, then you will enjoy this vehicle....read morehide

I just got my car for Christmas and I love it. I had a Nissan 350 Z prior to getting this car and their is no comparison. I love this car. It is fully equipped and has more features than expected.

- AWD, Great Handling, Acceleration, Bluetooth
- Fuel Economy, Small Sideview Mirrors
I've had my G35 sedan for almost 4 months now and absolutely love driving it. My previous cars have been a Lexus IS300 and Acura TL and while I was very happy with both of those cars, this one is by far the most fun to drive, most comfortable and best handling car I've ever owned. I live in CO so the AWD has already come in handy. Acceleration is great as the car jumps off the line and is awesome to drive on the highway. The interior is nice...not the finest, but very nice. The car handles like a dream.
Only complaints would be the fuel economy (to be expected at 280HP) and the sideview mirrors are way too small...not sure why they made them so small. Also, if you don't get the navigation package (which I didn't), you don't see some of the dashboard items you might be used to seeing on other cars (MPG, Miles to Empty, Oil life remaining, etc...)
I test drove an IS250 as well and while the interior of the IS250 was a little nicer, the car just doesn't compare when it comes to actual driving enjoyment. And when compared to BMW or Mercedes, you cannot beat the value of this car....read morehide

- Excellent car for the hard earned dollars you have
- Fuel econ is really bad. Worst than the same engine in my pathfinder.
AWD with premium package C. All the gadgets included for 30+ grands. Great Value for the money compares with BMW, Acura (aka Honda), ES 350 (aka Camry), MB C280. etc. Good resale value.

- Nice, safe, compact car.
- Rear appearance very unimpressive, Navigation is very inconvenient and slow , less value for price.
Looks good, lot of power, decent interior, a nice sedan/sport car. I have concern with price versus value and compared with Acura TL or even Acura TSX. I paid with all premium packages A,B, C(so-called) 36k. Acura TL with 12 HP less exceeds in all features at 32K. Still I am missing XM Radio/voice activated Nav and little bit more interior room, plus 3years free oil change.
The worst thing that so far five owners had issues with brakes which is bit expensive, runs between $500 to $1400 at the dealer ship. It was
scary: I was at dealership for the first oil change and 3 customers were told ( who kept the cars less than 15 months ) that they had to replace brakes/or the whole system drums etc. Once the Service manager was asked if this model had inferior brakes by design, the professional response was "designed for 15k. If you do not trust me, read the reviews. I have used different navigation systems including
cheapest/portable e.g. garmin ($400 worth), was more efficient, quick, accurate and with touch screen, versus my G35 (worth $1800) is slow, very difficult to use, recalculates after travelling half a mile....read morehide

- Great handling: rain, snow or dry; tight constuction;reasonable gas mileage
- headroom is a little tight for a taller person
good decision to buy this car, but this review system insists that I put in at least 15 words.

- Power, Handling, Value, Styling, AWD
- Fuel economy, too soon to know
Just purchased an 06 AWD and am very pleased overall. Still breaking the car in, but not sure will get much better in the way of fuel economy. However, knowing that I will be driving on highway frequently this coming winter, I opted to sacrifice gas consumption for performance and safety. This car handles great. Got it for 29,600k!...read morehide
