Let me start by saying I'm been a Jeep man for several years. I currently own a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I love, a 2002 Jeep Liberty that my wife had for 10 years and now my daughter is driving. My first Jeep, a 1999 Regular Cherokee and now a 2012 Jeep Compass. My wife liked the look of the Jeep Compass so I test drove one and couldn't believe this was a Jeep product. I wanted to by my wife a Liberty or Grand Cherokee and even looked at the Chevy Equinox. Guess who won this disagreement??? Anyway, we purchased a 2012 FWD base Jeep Compass back in March of 2012 and have we been disappointed. Terrible Ride, No Power, Engine Noise is Loud and Transmission just doesn't feel right. And to top that off it's Bad in Snow... A couple of inches and it's all over the road. The Service Manager at my Jeep dealership even called this a Throw-Away-Car. Just last week my wife finally admitted she made a mistake on this car and wanted to look at a Chevy Equinox. Now the bad part... The Chevy dealer can't even give me what I own on the car. - It's great on gas and easy to handle.
- Ride is not as smooth as I would expect and the sound of the engine is a little loud.

From a car to a small SUV, one of the best choices I've made this year! Overall this vehicle is a winner!
